you were wrong about the ice part. i agree it’s terrible to ice for soreness after throwing but you said the reason it is bad is because it will slow down warming up. that’s isn’t the case. blood flow will regain normality after about 30 mins of taking the ice off. the reason it is bad is because it decreases blood flow which will decrease inflammation which will decrease healing time. it has nothing to do with warming up after using it
If it continually hurts and is swollen or inflamed, ice it. That’s a very bad spot to have pain so I would recommend not throwing for a week or so until it goes away. If it continues you should see a sports doctor

for the reverse plyo ball throws i would recommend releasing it at a higher angle
I have a 3/4 arm angle when pitching so that’s why I do it a little lower. I agree for the people that throw more over hand tho

No that’s not gonna do much. You could also take a hot bath or sit in a hot tub if you have one that’s accessible
