My first job was June 1981. I worked for the City of Portland (Oregon) for 2 weeks (the length of the program) for $3.60/hr. I still believe the answer is to eliminate minimum wage and let the markets balance out. You can always vote with your feet. Every time minimum wage rises so does every thing else.

Great reaction Johnnie! I remember picking up returnable pop bottles to get money for the skating rink. My first job was a minimum wage job at Whataburger. The minimum wage at that time was $3.35 an hour. I have since held supervisory positions at 2 different state agencies and now I work for myself, but I had to put in the work to get there. I went back to school at the age of 28. I had been married for 5 years and we were finally in a place financially, to be able to do so. I worked fulltime, took a full course load and had my first child at home. People have become degenerate, slothful and ungrateful. I'm not successful, so it's gotta be his fault, her fault or their fault, but never my fault. Instead of being overcomers, most are being overcome with the burdens of this present world. You hit the nail on the head with the drugged up and dumbed down kids, but it seems that has been the plan all along. When Babylon falls, great will be her fall, but people have to start thinking for themselves or they will be a victim of the fall.
    Apologize for the essay brother.

@@brianwhitehead8755 Amen Brian. Confused indeed. Instead of recognizing that we are all the children of the Most High God, we are allowing these modern day Pharisees and their Scribes in the main stream media to pit us against each other with all the little boxes they put us in. Check this box, check that box. They all work for the same Devil they were working for in the first century.
Jesus spoke an entire chapter about them:
Matthew 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Kid Rock's new song is the most relevant song I can think of --- it's the mood of the nation right now. You have great analysis and common sense don't let anyone tell you any different.

I remember starting at $3.35 hr. But I worked at my dad’s local restaurant and he decided to only pay me state minimum wage ($2.10/hr) as opposed to higher federal. Or maybe he made that up. Also docked me for lunch hour drinks and burgers at his Dairy Queen that I worked at age 14. Employees harassing me saying I must think I was “hot stuff” being the boss’s daughter. He taught me two things during that time: 1. No free lunch. 2. You can work for dollars or you make your dollars work FOR you. #sendthebenjaminstowork

Just found your channel. Great review. I mean this with the utmost respect for you, I don’t think you really realize how much white people appreciate black people like yourself. It truly gives us hope that maybe someday people will understand that most of us really do not see color ever unless we are forced to see color every day. I love when strong black men and women like yourself stand up for what’s right because The crazies on the left really can’t say anything because it’s coming from a strong black man or woman. God for bid a white person do a review like this LOL. I hope you understand what I’m saying, I absolutely appreciate you doing this and ask that you never stop standing up for American values. We all bleed Red.

America needs constant listening to the 3 beautiful black ladies of En Vogue and the song "Free your mind", play it play it play it, revue it on here and, can we all be like 1 black man asked, Rodney King "Can't we all just get along".
Guess what, I'm an American born caucasion man born and bred here. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
REVUE: En Vogue, Free your mind and LISTEN, LISTEN well.

You're a role model to the entire world. We need more role models like you. Every country deserves the ability of freedom.
