Simple, Easy to understand, and straight to the point. You make my college professor look like an idiot when he attempted to explain this. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, it's helped me immensely!.

My teacher is a great teacher, but watching the TH-cam videos really help. It's some of the little things, like explaining that One's complement form and signed magnitude form suggests 2 that there exists a 0 and a -0. Once I heard that, it all makes more sense as to why people now use two's complement.

Thank you for a very clear and easy explanation! After reading 50 pages in a book I was left completely clueless on what I had just read. 15 minutes and a little note taking == my home work turned in on time. :)

Seriously can't people just be civil. He puts up a video. Takes time out of his schedule to do so, and gets criticized for doing the work on a white board instead of using "utube software" whatever that means??? I think he meant a drawing tablet... Jesus Christ...anyway...thanks for the video!

Dude this video helped out so much. you saved me like 3 hours of research here. however you maybe should have mentioned that the benefit of twos compliment is that you can have higher numbers. Otherwise it doesn't really seem better than the ones compliment since that method does have one less step. Thanks again though great video!

    I just realized after watching this that in 2's compliment you subtract the digits starting at MSB. So -1 = 111 or 4-2-1 = -1. -2 = 110 or 4-2-0. -3 = 101 or 4-0-1.
