I am using Novostella rgbic and im getting power to the second strand but its stuck on just white and not changing colors. Only the first strand changes colors.
@@fluxautomate I ended up finding the issue. The app has a setting where you tell the app how many LEDs it's lighting. It was on 80 which I guess is default since the set comes designed to be used as 80 on one strand and 80 on the other. But I spliced the strands to each other to make 100ft so I had to change it to 160 LEDs and it works. I found the solution on a another Govee video where they had to do the same for their Govee strands they extended.
When in the app at the very bottom there are a few icons. The one furthest to the right looks like a 4 box window. Once you click on it there is timer, schedule, strip light pixel number set, and adjust line order. You want to select strip light pixel number set. This is where you set the number of LEDs.
I bought Govee RGBIC, but to my surprise it looks like its only 3 wire? theres only 3 solder points showing at the cut mark, is this possible? I thought RGBIC had to be 4 wire...or did they give me the wrong product? Govee H618F RGBIC

Not sure about that brand to be honest. Make sure your wire are exposed enough with a good connection and that you have correct polarity.
@@kashmoney7421 Where do I find those settings I don’t see it ? To tell the app where to extend the amount of lights ?
When in the app at the very bottom there are a few icons. The one furthest to the right looks like a 4 box window. Once you click on it there is timer, schedule, strip light pixel number set, and adjust line order. You want to select strip light pixel number set. This is where you set the number of LEDs.
Would the strip still work without reattaching the part that was cut? I mean if we just cut and shortened the strip to length.
Yes, with this type of light strip.
I bought Govee RGBIC, but to my surprise it looks like its only 3 wire? theres only 3 solder points showing at the cut mark, is this possible? I thought RGBIC had to be 4 wire...or did they give me the wrong product? Govee H618F RGBIC
You must have been sent the wrong set.
@@fluxautomate i contacted Govee and they said it was indeed a 3 pin. I guess RGBIC can be either 3 or 4 pin. luckily I was able to return the 4 pin jumper set I got and bought the 3 pin. All working good! thanks for the video tutorial, this really helped!
@Illinination1977 happy you got it sorted in the end. 👍🏾

Hi does this work with the Govee M1 led strips mate
Yes you can cut them to create an extension for going around corners etc and you can also extend up to 32 feet. Subscribe, Like and hit the notification 🔔🙂👍🏾
Thanks mate appreciated, 1 other question please. Can I join 2 Govee M1's together and add extensions where I like as long as I like ? I'm trying to put 2 separate extensions about 2 Meters long each in the same run as 2 M1's
Not to sure about the M1
Am i able to just connect 300ish feet of rgbic with out needing to add an extension?
Hi, thanks for checking out the video. I'm a little confused by your question. What whoildnyou need to extend it if you have the length you need already?
@fluxautomate sorry I left that bit of detail out. But I have 10 rolls of govee rgbic outdoor led strips that are connected in pairs. I want to have one power source with no extension between each strip
I doubt that the power supply that come with them will be powerful enough
Will this work with the M1 strip?
Not sure tbh
Does that company also make corner connectors?
I haven't checked. If you use the link in the description you will be able to check. Hope you find what you need 👍🏾
did u find sth?
Is the RGB(IC) effekt still there?
Yes still working as they should. Check out our Govee T2 video to see them in effect.
No issues for combining two led stripes of govee rgbic?
Just curious if you went ahead and tried this out? I'm going to try it leave me a comment if you did or if you are interested in my results.
I would try not to extend too far as the power supply may not be strong enough. Make sure to Subscribe, like and hit the notification bell. 👍🏾
I bought a 15 meter Govee flyer, then I bought 10 meters. Can I connect them together through these connectors?
Only can advise is to check to the manuals before cutting
Does this also work with Govee RGBIC Pro LED Strips?
Only certain models so be aware before tying to cut
Will it work with Govee Y lights?
As long as they are not assignable area strip lights
What type of your mine sir?, i have govee H619a but i doubt to cut it
Sorry my english bad

What model number are you using?
After connecting it, are there any problems with the application regarding the effects?
All products used are in the description.
Not for simple LED strips. Not all strips are made to be adapted so make sure to check this before cutting.
🙏👍Thank.
Thank you
Good
