I do not main the class, but I personally like it as an alt of mine. However her PvE in Awa is not amazing in PvE IMO. But her succession is just crying for aid in PvE. Succ just does nothing without it's special resource. Drakania is one of my four favorite classes in the game.
I just tagged succ drak a week ago mostly for pve. The damage is definitely disappointing. Previously, I was on succ Woosa so the difference in damage is night and day. But despite the lack of damage, playing succ drak has been the most fun I've had on a class in ages. I was hesitant about playing her because I assumed she would be on the slow side like Guardian. But that's far from the case so far she feels very high apm and I like it.
Almost everyone sharing same feelings. Both stance Awk& succ extremely good and fun. But when you check efficiency, it s not even close to be good for that much effort.
Interesting. Retagged my Drakania last night and was wondering why the class felt weaker. Was hoping maybe it'd be decent in PvE, but that's also a negative. The class still has some cool concepts and animations to say the least.
PVE aside, since I do believe she does need buffs, I think she is still S+ tier in PvP and stronger than most classes. I'd like to see more nerfs or at least buffs in older classes that cant perform half of what Drak does
As a Drakania Awakening player from the day she has come, She definetely needs a huge PVE Buff. Eventhough we grind with her, high apm, z+e buffs etc. we're only able to get close enough to the average trash loot. I think she need buffs in terms of AoE or DPS wise. Classes such as Succession Guardian(which i love to play) gets more trash than what the average is. Even to the low apm and effort. Drakania and Sage Awakenings are one of the best contents of the BDO for them to take attention of new players. Since Sage Awakening is decent enough in terms of trash loot, there should be a equation for the Drakania.
Drakania is a wierd one. - PvE wise she seems very much in need of buffs across both speccs as she is very much lacking basicly thoughout the whole progression. -PvP 1v1´s: not much changed. Yes the catches on the flight are longer now, but those always been there and been more often then not the very thing people looked out for (the engage and the roar where my personal go-to cc windows. In terms of heals, not much changed. Sure the bug for the full heals may be gone, but she still has more then enough options to pump out heals over and over and over again for multible thousands of HP while dealing insane dmg as well as still being able to mini PA while leeching enough resource to drain every non mana class within 3 ticks. The Stam nerf is pointless here. Just means Draks can now only fly 3 times around the whole RBF instead of 7. -PvP Grpfights: guess if anything the nerfs hit here. More chaces to get nuked on engages, less likely to stay alive in a 10 player bubble etc. Still has great utility and mobility. Overall, much needed nerfs but probably not enough to be honest. Maybe, as you said, FOTM players got hit a little but anyone who plays her for a bit longer still wont have much issues.
PvP Grp? better pick woosa maegu ranger archer or any classes with rang attack ....or just go succ zerk. in 1v1? Ninja kuno lahn zerk valk warrior or even awake nova would do better than her with the same effort... PVE? doesnt exist for this class.

Honestly it was a perfect nerf, drakania awakening can no longer dive a ball from the front dmg combo and then get out she needed these nerfs if anyone is complaining they are simply fotm abusers and im sry if you view the class as your main and think this style of gameplay is acceptable it isn’t you shouldn’t be able to dive a ball one shot a back line then heal to full and fly away, the saddest part about the drak nerfs is that there is no awake valk nerfs as that class can now do everything drak did but imo easier

at first I thought that with these nerfs drak's wings literally have been cut and I was really upset but after checking all changes in game I was less frustrated. landing animation turned out to be not something terrible and for me it felt more natural after changes. although, she won't perform infinite movement combo anymore, it'll take some time for me to get used to it 🥲 let's hope for pve bufs for our beloved dragon woman and thank you for your explanations🙏
The stamina nerf on Tip of the Scale hurt the most, and I don't even care about PvP. This affects PvE way more than PvP even, as you now you're completely out of stamina when grinding some one-shot zone moving from pack to pack. Unjustified and unfair change when there are still classes that can zoom through grind zones 24/7 with a single click or two button hold even while Drakania takes practice and involves many skills to move 😒 Just remove the Forward Guard from its Core skill if the whole point of this change was to nerf its PvP power. (If protected Tip of the Scale every 6sec is too much) Also why is drakania still falling on almost all her jumping skills whenever the terrain isn't flat when Scholar literally falls on not a single one xD
Personally, I only PVE, so that is big for me, I can only say PA takes too long with pve changes, it took them 4 years for ranger to be good at pve(awak is not even the spec I like) I kinda wanted to play succ drak but its been more than 1 year of her release and the devs still seem clueless about her dmg, partly because PA used to nerf pve and pvp at the same time if either one was too op, I never understood that.
so when is zerker getting his nerf? i barely even see drakania as is and the ones i fight seemed fine... they one combo as i do them but i would agree the dmg nerf on obliterate was needed, it was doing a a significantly high amount of dmg, like an abnormal amount, but nerfing her catches with how unprotected she was i dont really think they should of to be honest, but am not a main of drkania, shes a tag and i actually didnt even know they nerfs happened... being wondering why she felt so ass as of recently. getting cc'ed in moment where i knew i should of being out of etc... but well, shes probably worst than drakania but i have being wanting to retag meawha anyways, probably not the same dmg as drak but i atleast can get in and out a lot better and not wonder how i got cc'ed randomly cause i hadnt realized i used a skill that wasnt protected.
Sorry to tell You but top1 NA drakania and other main players, says it's not even close to be a nerf, the stamina nerf hits only aos, we already know the few adjustments needed in your playstyle and you are still able to dash on her like crazy and kill people arround. Probably only new players or fotm followers are using flying -> tip of scale engages, at nw's sieges. Still it's beyond broken class, her damage is huge, her posibilities are huge, if someone think diffrent, I'm sorry to tell You it has to be skill issue, Check Your drakanias friends results at nw's, From my pov, I topfrag on her without any problems. With just simple engages like tip of scale - > extinction -> sundering roar(core) -> obliterate -> doombringer You are able to be top fragger on nodewars. But ye where people are talking that valkyrie is bad, or drakania is average after nerf, Ye we know people have no clue, because they have skill issues, Simple as that. It's 2 most broken classes, You cannot compare any other classes to drakania level, in terms of getting kills, on such low level of knowledge You literally use few skills everytime and disengage over and over again. Such sorry to hear people consider it as a hard nerf etc. BTW in future we gonna get 600stamina in 2x hystrias. it also gonna help alot. Just crossed my mind that they giga buffed awa mystic and she can spam dragons for days now. Succ drak is still dog @#$% with terrible and not enjoyable resource micro.
I’m not saying the class does not need attention, it clearly did. However the approach PA takes to nerfing and buffing is what I feel is off. I am new back to the game (my stay won’t be long I assume) so I cannot speak to how oppressive this was. My question is, how was she different than Zerker that can jump in pop a 200, sages that come outta no where and gimp you, archers that can light you up from down the block and around the corner, lahns that can land on your face, or Hashes that can jump to you. In a vacuum the changes seem fine but will she fall behind? Oh and if she was in need of a nerd this bad how come I never see drak? I see one in RBF every once in a while. I think the BDO community is still a bit to hooray for me f you. I know a lot of people doing a victory lap right now
Yeah, we can see you're new to the game, this class was a problem when it launched because it could one shot people on succ with a single skill even on capped nodes, i think it took 8 months to PA to nerf that stupid skill, and now they buffed the awk that was literally dog shit to being one of the most easy and powerful classes in PVP, awk drak has multiple heals fully protected, multiple movement skills protected, could use a combo that get on your back with zero frames to evade. Yeah, multiple classes on BDO do have a play style advantage sometimes like Lahn grab on 1v1, archers and sages succ on nodewars, but they aren't nor feel invincible. If you couldn't kill a drakania awk on one combo on PVP you literally had no chance on killing her, this is the level of stupidity it was, she could free heal all her life while on SA, basically either you have a grab or you heavily outgear her to have a chance to kill it. And either you were going to the wrongs RBFs or you are blind, because this class was the meta for PvP, be it 1v1 1vsX or nodes.
yes, drakania is definitely a dead class, she is very inefficient for pve, and now she is the least competitive class for pvp, and she is very complicated to play with her compared to the meta classes, I love playing with drakania but she no longer works the effort, I think it's time for me to take a break from bdo

i love this class and Play her in PvE (never did PvP), but if she stay like that then i think, i need to find a New Main class for me

dive in to ball hmm like zerker? which outperforms drakania using only 4 buttons in pve? sure... that seems fair

If Awa drak is no longer a strong class in PvP, very few people will choose her as their main class🥺
I never understood why everyone would be concerned with people rolling off of her. There are over 40 classes available.
I was wondering do u think drakania is a class u should run 200%bsr? I have all tungrad accessories besides earrings I have narcs and distos.
Her ultimates are bad for pve. For pvp i dont know. Never used the 200 Ultimate for pvp

Yeah, multiple classes on BDO do have a play style advantage sometimes like Lahn grab on 1v1, archers and sages succ on nodewars, but they aren't nor feel invincible. If you couldn't kill a drakania awk on one combo on PVP you literally had no chance on killing her, this is the level of stupidity it was, she could free heal all her life while on SA, basically either you have a grab or you heavily outgear her to have a chance to kill it.
And either you were going to the wrongs RBFs or you are blind, because this class was the meta for PvP, be it 1v1 1vsX or nodes.

Even so, a nerf in PvP shouldn't cripple certain PvE aspects of any class. The Tip of the Scale stamina change did just that.

yes, drakania is definitely a dead class, she is very inefficient for pve, and now she is the least competitive class for pvp, and she is very complicated to play with her compared to the meta classes, I love playing with drakania but she no longer works the effort, I think it's time for me to take a break from bdo
The fact is BDO developers just have NO IDEA aboult pvp and what they need to do. Sad
