lmao if u have a good pair of headphones u can hear the change the noise shift from the wisconsin side (from when everyone thought he was going to be sacked) to the nebraska side (when he passes the first down marker).
Me, (Badger fan) watching this play: "YEAH! Sacked at the ten!...Okay, tackle for loss!... Alright guys, let's fucking tackle him at mid field...Jesus don't let him score. Okay, that was rough."
i literally hate it so much when people say that nebraska would be better without taylor martinez.. hes literally the best nebraska qb since eric crouch, id say possibly even better, he's one of the best passing nebraska quarterbacks ever (not the first 2 years but this past year). its the defense thats holding nebraska back
Terrible game to watch as a Husker fan. We left both our offensive and defensives lines back in lincoln during this game. Congrats to the Bagders for showing up to play and putting together so many perfectly executed plays. The Badgers blocking from their O-line was amazing, those big guys got down field and blocked for the extra yard.
summed up his entire career with that run! Should go down as one of the greatest in Nebraska history but because there are no championships under his belt, the run and Taylor will more than likely never really be givin the credit he deserves
That is absolutely Mental as we would say in London. It shouldn't have even been possible I'm not an expert on American Football but how was that even done. I don't think I will ever see the like of that again ever.Jeez.
Lmfao even better is that he had literally NO ONE helping him. His offensive line literally looked like it was equivalent to my 6th grade B-Team line and he still somehow got away from all the defenders and turned on the jets and ran it all the way. What a legendary play.
He is seemingly a rare case as he is growing into a passer with amazing running capabilities. Before this season he was just a poor man's Denard Robinson but he got better throwing the ball and could play himself into a top round next year.
Id argue the kenny bell block later in the game was a better play. While this TD was awesome and one of the best plays of this season, the kenny bell block was one of the best blocks in college history
I can't tell if you're insulting them or being sarcastic by saying Gus Johnson is the baddest of the badass announcers. So badass, that he has is own level of badassery. So badass, Joe Buck & Troy Aikman can't even wipe his ass. So badass, that he's got day RUNNIN' AWAY FROM DA COPS SPEED.
Because the defender turned himself to get away from the block and then #18 let him go, they will hardly ever throw a flag for Holding on that. Had the WI player continued toward Martinez and #18 held his jersey to impede him, a flag would then be thrown.
lol where is the WIS player tripping? and really getting ejected for that? stfu....seems the corncob player held onto him then got tangled up after holding onto the guy...
Gus Johnson is just head and shoulder above the rest... best commentator ever...
LOL what about John Madden?
I knew this was a big run already. But the fact that it was Johnson on the call meant that the stars were aligned and the universe was in balance.
@@pistolpat933 John is not a color guy.
Epic run. Gus Johnson's commentating just makes it that much more awesome.
That shit was unreal. What an amazing run. Back when we won at least 7 or 8 games a year. Thank you Taylor! GO BIG RED!
LEGENDARY RUN

Blinding unrealistic expectations; 11 years later they about F'd up another really good QB named Martinez.
Top 10 greatest Husker plays ever. Martinez got so much heat from the fans, but the dude was actually fucking phenomenal.
Amen!
If husker nation had Taylor Martinez for 2024, they’d all be swooning
Best Martinez QB we've ever had.

Holy shit this game was painful for a husker fan but that run was insane
That was some straight up Johnny Football play right there. I approve.
Still get chills like it just happened
Gus Johnson is so great. He sounded like he was going to either have a heart attack, explode or both.
I remember watching this live
One of the fastest QB’s ever
The offensive line is all walk-ons, he gets no help. We have a few games every year where we just don't show up and this was the one they chose...
That was the best run by a qb I have ever scene 💯💪T Magic#3
summed up his entire career with that run! Should go down as one of the greatest in Nebraska history but because there are no championships under his belt, the run and Taylor will more than likely never really be givin the credit he deserves
Absolutely electrifying run by Tyler! Legendary! And made that much more special by Gus Johnson.
i know the game didnt end the way we huskers wanted it to but thanks gus johnson for making some amazing calls this game.
The run Cannot be taught...Ecstatic!!
How the hell does Nebraska not get fired up after this play and kick Wisconsin's ass??? Coaching....bo must go
This comment didn't age well
who's bo?
is there a better guy to commentate that run?

If I was a Nebraska fan before this game, I certainly wouldn't be after...

If only our Defense would have showed up :((

🐐
I'm talking about this play individually. It's a great play.
I love you Gus Johnson!
run Forest run
Somewhere, Dante Hall is smiling.
lamar jackson totally was inspired by tm3
Braxton Miller, Denard Robinson, Jordan Lynch, Johnny Manziel, Collin Klein(maybe, with some better blocking), keith price, etc.
Wisconsin #10 should have been ejected from the game after tripping Martinez at the end of the play. Poor sport.
Well that's the same dude who Bell killed later in the game so it's all good lol
is that why Nebraska gave up 70 points?
I can't tell if you're insulting them or being sarcastic by saying Gus Johnson is the baddest of the badass announcers. So badass, that he has is own level of badassery. So badass, Joe Buck & Troy Aikman can't even wipe his ass. So badass, that he's got day RUNNIN' AWAY FROM DA COPS SPEED.
A mi no me engañan, ese es Forest Gump
I'm talking about the commentator, the announcer, Gus Johnson. What exactly are you talking about?
Maradona Style
@qwest4eight I didn't see any holds
It's funny because Nebraska is getting shit on right now.
Because the defender turned himself to get away from the block and then #18 let him go, they will hardly ever throw a flag for Holding on that. Had the WI player continued toward Martinez and #18 held his jersey to impede him, a flag would then be thrown.
or any run for that matter
Messi Style
Is Messi in American Football
Man outran everyone except the guy with the angle by a mile.
you cant have good lateral movement when your ankles are crap though
yea by they lost by like 400 points
bayern bought the wrong martinez..
I'm not familiar with NCAA rules, but at 0:27 looks like a clear holding by #18
de donde es martinez?
lol where is the WIS player tripping? and really getting ejected for that? stfu....seems the corncob player held onto him then got tangled up after holding onto the guy...
Calm down bub you guys won the game by a lot, quit bitchin.
well you're the hosers who have the video posted about " tripping " lol....
negative
You must be a pretty shallow fan, then.
