The Mimic is better, storyline, designs, graphics, all that is just chefs kiss. Sure, Sama's Revenge has slightly better graphics but The Mimic just hits different for me.
If I have to be honest, no one can beat the original. The fan-made jump scares are impressive and unique. The graphics are also insane. A very well made "mimic" of the original!
I agree, not gonna lie I liked the fanmade versions more. Not talking about all designs, some of them were good. The maps were good too and the gameplay overall feels better than the original mimic book 1

The mimic jumpscare not scarier and the chasing theme makes it more better , but in fanmade it has no music maybe copyright and the jumpscare is more scarier than mimic but in gameplay mimic is more better even storyline that is why if u ask Mimic is better but i also like fanmade cuz the atmosphere is so scary than mimic and also more darker than mimic the fanmade one really has more horror game vibes for me it's only my opinion so don't hate me.
