Then a few years later, they created the present chamber of the mageblade. They made it so it would be able to recover the blade with no effort. It's nice to think about, but... I love it there are still people exploring the game for new stuff eg you used the sword just to earn back mana its just good to see that people still like this game
I love the twist that the boss is a shadow of you but I feel like Swordigo could have done something more epic for the final boss, like I’m saying keep the shadow of yourself idea but maybe add extra tricks like every time you get him down by 10% he spawns a corruptor to help him or maybe every time you get him down by 15% he teleports himself and you to a previous boss arena so it’s like a cool flashback to everything you did lef up to this, I dunno it’s just a bit disappointing that this boss is so easy to cheese even though he’s supposed to me the master

Also,this neat trick of camping in the corner,where he can't reach you is kinda funny too He should be atleast able to summon magic beams or use the Dragon's grasp on you whenever you stay in the corner for too long Also,what if they nerf his HP to 50%,but give him a second form where he turns into a frickin Dragon?
You can spam upgrade your HP if you're afraid of dying Spam upgrading your DMG if you're too overconfident to fight a boss head-on Tbh,I rarely upgrade the magic since it becomes more important in mid to late game rather than early game
Man, I'm uncomfortable seeing those map icons without stars on them, I always hunt for those chest, even when I speedrun the game... ...the nostalgia also hits hard.
Fun thing i found: in the plains area where you have to get a vase for the man to activate the bridge, you can just line up 2 normal pots at the end of the inactivated bridge and jump over it. You can also get the key and still leave, no effect on game progression, the extra key can really help if there is an annoying part which requires a key. Idk if this is outdated but still, its smth i found out myself
Actually another way to triple jump is hold the jump for sometime and then jump again. When u hold jump the character jumps higher. It's easier than triple jump
Wow I've been playing and replaying this game many times, but I never knew the phase 1 boss stays on the ground if you use Dimension Rift. The animation looks so weird to me lol. I'm currently trying to 100% the game without using the sword for combat, so yeah magic build ftw. And damn never knew the game had this many tricks before.

I was finding it difficult in the Fire Room and the Ice Temple, so after I got dimensional magic, I didn't fight the bosses, I was just exploring the map and killing the enemies in the last arena through magic only.

I just beated swordigo and it is HARD (more emphasis on hard) Because of a glitch where instead of 1 Master of chaos is spawned there were 2, 1 glitchy and 1 normal the glitched one blocked all the sword attacks for me while i just kept damaging the non-glitchy one which allowed me to win. It is HARD and you did something i couldn't even try. RESPECT TO YOU.
I actually did a magic only playthrough a while back after my brother tried doing it. I collected swords as I didn't know which ones you could skip and beat the game without ever swinging the sword at an enemy. This makes me want to re-rout the game for that run
In World's End Keep, isn't there that annoying parkour section where to get a key you have to deflect white magic bolts and if you get hit, you get teleported back to the beginning? How do you cross that without the Mageblade?
even if your shortcut trick is good like playing the game in hard mode but still it feels better to play it in the way the game is designed. But that pushing thing thanks for that one.

Bro you should alternatively change between using and not using the rift spell So that you can fight by losing less health and get more cooldown and recharge to kill that final corruptor boss That dark energy really screwed you're attack and you're survival
I was struggling to kill the last boss until I opened my inventory and realized that mageblade was a thing and I didn't have the final shard. All this time I thought corruptors were just immune to all melee weapons.
Man i remember finding this game on play store and downloading it... I wasted WEEKS trying to beat the game at the first time and it was so good, the game is challenging and cool, you feel like playimg those old flash games of 2012, killing bosses and finding secrets, killing monsters unlocking magics, i played this game with 6 years old and it was very fun, beating the last boss and completing the MageBlade, all of that was just incredible... I miss those days
I came back to this game recently. I'm doing a pacifist run where I try to kill as little enemies as possible. I found out not on the cross air bug but also the fact that you don't have to kill two of the bosses.

I don't remember that final boss being that easy and not being able to reach the corner. I've defeated that boss took me 4 tries, it's frustrating. I don't buy potions.
I tried it on difficult mode (no armor) and it was difficult to go past fireball levels as each fireball deals 4 hearts, now am max on everything and have normal armor and thinking of upgrading it to magic because the 1st phase is too hard😭
I killed the final boss without using the dimension rift, when he hit me with the fire ball I reflect it on him, I have the mageblade with everything maxed, and the magic armor too.
The corruptors aren't immune to 158 damage and trinkets aren't cheating in my word so the corruptors aren't immune to the mageblade with the fire trinket
The point is that unless you have the mageblade, corruptors are immune to sword damage. Usually you have to get the mageblade to damage them but not if you use a magic build.

Defeating Corruptors is one of the easiest things in the game. They are very predictable and there is even a bug where they won't attack you anymore

Pretty sure they use this in speedruns, but you need to triple jump to get over (I’ve tried it but I suck at triple jumps lol)

There a third way to beat the boss, by having max health and a health potion and using the fire trinket in the chestplate

Use dragons grasp it deals damage
But outside of Dimension Rift, the boss steadily breaks the floor. Dragon's grasp takes a lot of energy, and the floor will break before you kill him.
