Good day, Ma. Thanks so much for the video; you really explained the parts I was confused about. I have a question regarding the Weighted BCD in 2-4-2-1. In the decimal number two of the second row, I got two different answers: 0010 and 1000. Could you please help me understand which one is correct?
Mam 7:10 here the binary value of this decimal number (456) is coming 111001000 in my calculator and when I solved it by other method then also so kindly check if anything is missing there or if I am wrong..
If u r writing 456 in binary then 111001000 is correct but here 456 is ex3 code and each digit is represented by 4 binary digit using 8421 code 4=0100 5=0101 6=0110
Actually this code is best for 9's Complement If we take 9's Complement of 5 than that is 4 And 4bin this is 0100 Complement of it is 1011 invert each bits In same way 9s Complement of 6 is 3 and 3 is represented by 0011 and self Complement it u get 1100 which is 6 Last 5 digits ( 5 to 9) is Complement of starting 5 (0 to 4) That's why this is call self Complementing code

Mam jse 2421 me 5 digit h toh isko ase bhi kr skte h 4+1 means 0101
5=0101
Mam9's compliment se kreng
tq
Ma'am notes description me nahi hai
DSO Digital Storage Oscilloscope pe video banaye madam g
Theory video
For which subject
😮
Hmm
Or mam jse 3 me 2421 hai usme y bhi ho skta h 2+1 =3 toh code is 1001
This is possible but we can't write because 1st 2 is MSB so we write 0011
Same in the case of 5
@@TechnoTutorials2783 ty mam
Mam please provide us Notes .
mam but for 6 in 5421 why is 1001 why not 0110 please respond immediately mam
We represent 5 by 1000
And 6 comes after 5 that's why we write 6 as 1001
ok mam if we represent 5 by 1000 in 5421 code then can it represented as 0101?because 4+1=5@@TechnoTutorials2783
@@Jhansilakshmi903 in some books 5 is represented by 0101
But according to standard book it's 1000
Thanku mam for answering

mam where is the notes link?
for 2421 value of 5 is 1011 but why 0101 is not
Actually this code is best for 9's Complement
If we take 9's Complement of 5 than that is 4
And 4bin this is 0100 Complement of it is 1011 invert each bits
In same way 9s Complement of 6 is 3 and 3 is represented by 0011 and self Complement it u get 1100 which is 6
Last 5 digits ( 5 to 9) is Complement of starting 5 (0 to 4)
That's why this is call self Complementing code
