I have learned i can stop working SO hard to make my life "work". What God has for me is for me and no one can take that away. I'm so grateful. So very very grateful. I am 67 years old and was laid off from my position at a healthcare tech company in May. I have applied for over 100 positions across the country. My mother used to tell me if something didn't happen, it wasn't meant to be. Admittedly, I get weary from time to time, especially when I read another rejection e-mail. I am certainly not ready to retire as I still have physicians and patients to help. I keep applying because I know whatever position God wants me to have will eventually transpire.
The good Lord has something greater for you, take this as chance to improve with your faith grounded in him. He never forsakes his own, you are favored. Remember this Thrive in Tribulation.
I was laid off as well, I did 17 interviews, 6 of which I made it into the 2nd round and out of those 6, three I made it to the 3rd round. All to be told “No” until I got accepted to a better position for an increase in salary. God is good! Keep applying!!
