I think the main issue here were the red choices. Forsaken is great for the Glow spell, but the second one was a total downgrade. With no consistent way to use mana, both those characters did nothing on Most turns. I think you needed to wait for a red class that actually did damage or had a good spell.

Rerolls are key. You can consistently build a few broken sides, but usually lose if you don't see them 2-3 turns in a row. Take reroll blessings and items over most other things. Next, pick things that can make broken things happen with the heroes you have. Clumsy? Grab that Ash and hope for a good middle replace. Lazy? Wrist Blade into Wax Seal can get bonkers. Random can be worth it, if nothing really stands out.
Oh, and also: 5% -> 20% and generated items are your friend! Hats can give you a lot of power for a single item. Some of the other things you can get can also be really strong.

Thanks for the reply. What happens to me is that I get overwhelmed in fights 13 onwards since my heroes have low hp. Poison is particularly nasty.

I know with how this run ended its probably ly obvious but I genuinely think Wurst is never takeable. Especially a party like this because endgame reds are really best at just... making burst. It's where most of your damage comes from in a red heavy party. Burst just does so much its hard to justify ever losing it in a party that makes mana

I think it's okay, if you actually have a blue character and tailor your upgrades around it. Mage, Evoker or Weaver work perfectly fine without burst. Not so much with double red though.

Just a note: when choosing your party layout I believe r (as in r: 0.2) means the rate at which you've selected it, not how rarely it appears.
You see it on the Hero view too and it helps see which ones you always take when given the option and which you'd rather not.

Incorrect. When you turn off the 'show rarity' option, the number disappears. Heroes don't have individual rarities
