You guys are fantastic and put out some of the best deer hunting tips and videos on the entire internet. With that being said, just one correction from my time in the Army, for that typical 100 yard shot it's ok, but if you go prone-your body should be straight, not cock-eyed. The idea/science behind this is so your entire body absorbs all the recoil and follow up shots are MUCH easier to obtain quicker and more accurately (I learned this first hand). Again, I'm REALLY not being an a**hole at all, I really am devoted to catching every video you put out and have nothing but good to say, this is just something you may want to keep in mind and try even for better groups and faster shooting as well and it really comes into play for longer range shots, but as I said those follow-ups-and as all of us hunters know more often than not you may need a second shot to kill that animal. Just a minor critique to keep in mind to benefit your own hunting and shooting abilities as well. Keep up the good work! Your stuff really helps a lot of people!
my group I've been hunting for a few seasons were eezy-peezy to pattern. they are completely nocturnal. spring, early summer, late summer, September season opener, cooling days of October, November rut, and the season closer in December, they only show up on cams between 10pm and 2am pretty much. it's maddening.
...when you say "when I lot him in the recoil" ... you meant when you had to take the time loading your single shot Thompson right ?? ; ) Good shot, good hunt.
Simply the best content available, no fluff just the art.
Well done,
Thank you!
