- I met Thomas and Mariam in Lagos during their
bike-packing adventure across Africa.
Thomas initiated his journey from Slovakia,
while Mariam set out from Morocco, both aiming
to reach South Africa.
Mariam has been on the road for 8 months,
while Thomas spent 11 months before reaching Lagos.

There are still many nice Policemen...as these friends of yours confirmed... I hope the bad ones would learn and be nicer.
Interestingly, this happened before the bad publicity of the Dutch biker

No bro, this is not a tour of Lagos. They got into Lagos and google map made them pass through this congested market so I went to pick them up.
I respect anyone why can ride in traffic. I only ride in my neighborhood
That's great! Riding in traffic can be challenging, and it's commendable that you have a strong respect for those who navigate it. Enjoy your rides in the neighborhood!
@@edwonder_pt Yes boss. I saw you riding in that traffic in Conackry going between moving cars. Nuff respect.
Are the Drivers careful around cyclists? Here in London I have to always sue bad drivers and take them to court...lol
No unfortunately Lagos roads and drivers are not cycling friendly
@@edwonder_pt We had horse whip in our car just in case people tried to drive into our car... this was the early 70s to 80s ...lol
Good to see cycling seeping into Nigerian culture... just a matter of time, everybody would start cycling to cut fuel costs running a car. Keep it up buddy.
@@SonofthewindsInc Hahah I remember those military era when people used to have horses whip in their cars. Yes hopefully, cycling gets into our culture soon. Thanks for your encouragement 🙏
