Why doesn't he?? This style is quite popular esp now with Falling In Reverse/Papa Roach and a few other bands doing "Reimagined" versions of their old songs and they seem to be quite popular. I for one love them when done well.
I'm 61 just discovered these guys few months ago. We are all freaks. Just led a life of being kind to all fellow humans. And enjoy this band. They have that special touch. Can't explain what it is but they are on another level. Safe travels my friend 😊😊😊
I'm not really into growling. But Johannes has a very unique style that didn't annoy me. I kept on listening. I was not disappointed. Soon followed songs where he didn't growl used clean vocals. It's not only his vocal range but the way he uses it depending on the message he's trying to send with each part. Don't get me wrong here, the entire band does an awesome job combining and breaking genres every single time. You expect to hear something like some song you've heard before? Not with this band. And that's exactly what I expect. But it wouldn't work with any other singer. There's something unique about Johannes' voice I just can't put into words. So yeah, his voice is immortal.
While I love the original version, I've always felt that the live piano version was much more powerful. I'm so glad to finally get an official version.
It's been years since I've heard Tower. I've always listened to this song at my father's. I hated staying there, I hated his whole family with the exception of my step sister; I still feel sorry for her having to live there full-time. What helped me get through those hellish days and nights of mental abuse was your music. Avatar music. Tower was the song that made survival easier. And here I am. No contact with my father since 2020 or 2019, I don't really remember. I am happy but tired, I still struggle because of PTSD. Avatar, thank you for being there with me. You guys are legends

Johannes is so talented. Like insanely talented. I first heard Avatar in 2022 when I saw them live in Mexico, they were the only ones that interested and excited the public before the headliners' time started, even though they had only forty minutes to play. After Avatar's show ended, people just left again, and the band who played after Avatar, who had a whole hour to play, was really ignored, I think the vocalist even left earlier and was quite pissed lmao. Anyway, I've been a fan since then, and you guys never cease to amaze me. Thank you 🙇✨️
Reminds me of my childhood abuser. The grooming and manipulation, the isolation, my gradual loss of self. Always loved the lyrics- there aren't many songs which capture those feelings as poetry- and this version elevates them even more. Thank you Avatar for making this masterpiece.

They are everything, musically amazing, vocals that leave me speechless, great stage show, and the guys are great people with a sense of humor and they just look like they having so much fun together.
