The Galaxy S1 was a beast and took the world by storm and started the iPhone killer trend. The S2 set Samsung on the way to world market domination. The S3 destroyed the competition absolutely and became the first android to outsell an iPhone. The S4 was the phone that had every feature samsung could pack and became Samsung's highest selling phone. S5 was a great practical device but the all time hate on plastic material resulted in lesser sales. The S6 brought samsung back to the Map and the S7 and S8 is further destroying the competition!

I have a galaxy S5 have had it now for 2 and a half years and still love it. last one to have removable battery which is a huge plus for me. replaced it recently for about 7 dollars. now getting 2-3 days of battery again. running marshmallow 6.0.1 with nova launcher, super snappy still. not much lag at all if any. phone is unlocked and paid off. not planning on upgrading for a while. Android for life!

I had an S5, and it slowed down to a crawl all the time. The main reason was probably because I had a bunch of stuff loaded onto it. But I am upgrading to the J7 Pro now, so that'll be a welcome improvement

What I imagine is, we won't be using that kind of phones anymore. Phones will be bracelets or grips implanted to our body and we can see it in our arms or in front of us (basically a projector). We can control the phone with our minds and we will never need to charge them. The phone will rest itself when we sleep...

I mean 5 years later I was still using my Galaxy S8. Cannot say I missed new features or performance. The battery was getting weak and I wanted a newer android version so I switched... Else I would have kept it.

Reviews like this make me realize why we went from useful utilitarian phones that actually served its purpose for years (removable battery, 16:9 cam, rugged plastic body, with removable backplate) to absolutely useless pieces of glass/aluminum garbage like S8, Note 8 and iPhoneX. People really do just care about what the thing looks like. So sad. Goodbye forever utilitarian phones. We will. Miss you :(

I still have my S5 for 4 years and it still works perfectly and it updated to 6.0.1 version and feels like new!!! But it takes 17 seconds to turn on.
I still use it.. running Android 9 custom rom smooth

My favorite one would be the s6 and s7 because it get the feeling of COMPLETE and of course the s8 of the MASTERPIECE of Samsung with an infinity display that started all smartphones to get a larger display as of now the s9 that comes with AR animoji. You can really tell the evolution of Samsung

Kind of a pointless video, but cool to see how far Samsung has come. I had the S3, S6 edge, and now the S9+. Personally, I think the gold S6 edge was the more beautiful phone ever made. If they kept the SD card slot and better battery life would of given it the title of best phone of all time. However, the S9+, in my opinion, doesn't look quite as nice, but just does everything amazing making it easily the best phone ever to own.

I like samsung s4. It do have lock screen sound(lens flare), universal control tv, aircon or anything that it have, n air view& gestures.
However for s6, i still love it yet the lock screen sound n animation has been removed after nougat version released for samsung s6 family n note 5 (2015 model phones)

I really love the S7 series and I think that without it, Samsung could have fallen back in the global competition big time last year (2016) due to the note 7 fiasco (RIP). It was a revolutionary update over the S6 in terms of design polish and a beast of a processor (Exynos M1 mongoose). It was the flagship phone that took over the company's baton after the fall of our beloved Note 7 which gave the company very bitter times. With the S7 series it managed to keep most of sammy's consumers like myself loyal to the series. The S7 series is what i call Survivor and Saviour ((S.S.) as in (S.Seven.)), I think it is the main reason the S8 happened and was a huge hit and note 8 is going to happen. Just imagine what could have happened if the S7 series never existed amist the note 7 fiasco. Samsung really outdid themselves with the S7 and they must keep being grateful to the S7 series cause it saved them a lot of trouble. My biggest respect is for the S7 edge, its just sooo badass looking. I have a gold coloured one and I love spending every single day with it. Love you sammy.....

Samsung s4 is my favourite i know its not as new but i bought it from eBay BRAND NEW in the box for £119 it was brand new in mist black model i9505 , im only 13 so i thought why not bring them days back phone is excellent in speed and quality battery life awesome but yh no regrets on my purchase definite recommend!!
