That's some nice mineralization. It looks rich in copper and silver, and looks like some gold as well. When you see pyrite like that, you know that there will be other heavy elements there as well. Iron staining is also a good clue. Nice claim for someone !!
Not a geologist, but I love your videos! First for your obvious knowledge of the rocks and minerals, and second for the beautiful scenery...which hooked me in the first place. What is missing is a bit more of an explanation of the significance of your finds. This one seems huge compared to others you've posted. You mention trenching and drilling, which must be to further study if developing the site is worth it. Can we assume you are always hired to explore by the mineral rights holder and your reports would be the trigger for development, or do you explore potential sites for the purpose of establishing your own claims?
I agree, your videos great combination of beautiful scenery and passionate geological teachings. I am also interested in how your business works, how often you buy claims yourselves and if you do, have you ever mined the claim or would you just sell them on? Or when you are surveying an area for the claim/land owner, do you ever get an interest in the claims or are you just paid for the survey? I appreciate you may want/need to keep some, if not all of that confidential!
This is our claim we have a 1800 hectare property which covers 100s of showings. While this is large it is a secondary target area for us. We have discovered some very nice deposits on the property which have potential to be substantially larger than this one. While we do work for other people this past year we haven't.
It's extremely hard to get a mine going because of permits and all the hoops you jump through, id say it would take between 6 and 10 years to property get to production stage...we have done small scale before but we generally try to option and get a better funded company to pick up the property and do the expensive work.

Here in Ontario they say "the average prospector will find one mine in a thousand attempts" this guy seems to find a thousand for every thousand attempts. A master prospector indeed!
I found some nice roadside quartz and ore exposures in the Havelock Ontario area back in October 2020. not much gold in the small sample I grabbed but some flour gold and silver was found. I am looking into getting property in the area to explore what could be nearby to the spot I got samples from. I hear if you are looking for bigger deposits you need to go to the north west part of Ontario, you might still stumble upon some glacial til deposits just a bit north of the Toronto area and heading east towards Cordova and Eldorado.
@@StevenMartin8000 Thats awesome :) I havent tried looking for diamonds yet, its on my wish list lol I did get 5 small yellow diamonds in a bag of paydirt from Dan Hurd though. I also have a collection of other gems and minerals from various other paydirt vendors. In the spring I want to go check out the Montrose rock dump in Niagara falls, I hear there is a decent host of minerals there from when they dug the power canal.

I just dont like all the red tape and restrictions Ontario has with the Mining and lands Administration. got to jump through many financial hoops to get anywhere big in the industry here or so I have found. That being said, it hasnt deterred me from trying to get a piece of the pie ;) there is plenty of gold left to be found in Ontario and I sure would love to find me some of it lol
It looks like a good area for a horizontal drilling exploratory program. Did you find any information from the previous drilling? Hopefully the veins all enrich with depth....good catch and thanks for sharing Justin(s).

Nice work - you mentioned the zone is 20 meters wide (quartz vein) - do these veins go down deep in the ground and you have to dig deep to get all the gold? Or are the quartz veins just on the ground and once you extract them then there is no more gold?
With the increased cost of fuel these days, it would indeed be a lower profit if the high dollar minerals [gold and silver] are not really rich, but it seems that one could just about just strip the veins coming right off the top of the ground and pull away thousands of tons of minerals without having to do much shoring or even blasting. If the deposit gets richer at depth, at least by that point one could afford to blast and shore.

Yup not always but gold can be found with almost any type of mineralization. Here is the thing if you crush and pan it and still don't get gold...doesn't mean it's not there. Could be micron size. Only real way to tell is an assay.
It may be my imagination, but it seems you most frequently find your best mineralized zones where the host rock is all crumbly and scistos. Am I wrong about that?
@@911mining so i looked up vms and found a diagram of a typical one.. pubs.usgs.gov/bul/b1693/html/bull0bfp.htm but it seems they like to form mostly undersea with volcano involved.14 to 16 ma ago. that is recent in compared to the age that australia was butted against north america. i know little about B.C. , but western washington had a period of being undersea - can't remember the age. so maybe b.c. also had the same thing.

Nice video it was me not sure how rich the vein is but if it was I'd dig the whole mountain up and let us know what you get out of the drill holes

We believe its Kuroko type vms au, ag, cu, pb, zn. Most if not all the deposits have been classified as that.
