I tried dave's hot chicken and it had me the same way. The secret is they load up on the powder seasoning. Powder is wayyy stronger / harder to deal with vs a liquid sauce. That powder gets in your gums/cheeks and literally burns. Hot buffalo sauces kinda just go away and you can power through it. That's the trick they use to make you tap right out.
