Also since the early 1990s middle class parents from Mainland China have sent 1000s of their children to English speaking countries for higher education. The Indian middle class are the same. Im a white Australian who lives in a neighbourhood with a lot of Africans. The nice ones are fantastic and very welcome but unfortunately we have a huge problem with some of the young males. Recently an elderly grandmother was murdered in front of her 7 year old grand daughter for her car which the criminals just dumped afterwards. It happened in daylight at our shopping centre. Some of the men come in to the shops demanding things and being extremely rude. So please don't take offence if some people are a little short or rude at the shops. Unfortunately as usual some bad eggs spoil it for others. Unfortunately sometimes people get sick of the rude bad Africans in our area and forget that some are very nice, lovely people. We all need to treat people with a little more patience but also the community needs to watch out for the venerable. I remember my wife who was a driving an Uber at the time gave a ride to a lovely older African man. He was an elder in the community and was extremely angry because some young African men had had a gang war out on the streets which affected all the innocent people in the neighbourhood. He wanted to see the youths involved deported after being punished. He said nno one should come to this country and start violence. He came here to make a happy successful life for his family and realistically he knew their actions would also affect the way some Australians viewed him. Im sorry but hes right. Some Aussies are very stand offish because of things like this. It affects the many lovely African people who come here , work hard and act in a responsible, respectful manner. I think we all need to stand together to hold people of all backgrounds accountable for criminal behaviour so that the good people can enjoy this wonderful country
Thanks Matt for your comment. Very informative and detailed picture of what really goes on in the community. Unfortunately just like I see a lot of Australians in current affairs involved in Domestic violence and killing their wives, I really don't walk around being suspicious of all Australian men. I totally agree with you, we can't generalize a whole race just because of criminal cases. We are all individuals and it's only fair that we give everyone a 'fair go!' Thanks for your input again
@@stellaadlyke656 yeah I agree. People should be judged on their merit. I don't believe in guilt by association. It means we miss out on meeting some very lovely people if we pigeon hole people based on others behaviour. Unfortunately it is human nature for a lot of people. Please don't take offence too much. You seem like a nice lady and you should be treated how you act. Unfortunately some shop attendants here have no idea on friendly customer service. It's no excuse and it annoys me too. I find some people in customer service great to deal with and some just plain rude. Not a great thing but unfortunately a reality. I've had shopping experiences where ive been polite and respectful and walked away shaking my head. You are right, you should be treated with an open mind, with respect and courtesy. Unfortunately it seems to be a little rarer than it used to be and that's not right. Just continue to be you. I reckon plenty of Aussies will be happy to be friends and the ones that don't want to be decent back aren't worth worrying about.
Absolutely! I appreciate your kindness and support. I have had very good experiences here and as you said it happens to everyone. Also some people have never interacted with people of other races and their only reference point is what is aired on TV. You shouldn't forget your original home or it's culture and Australia is built on different people from different walks of life coming together in a bigger community. Hahaha that taking photo with I have never had🤣🤣🤣🤣guuurl survival in this country is for the fittest...also getting a job is haaaaaaaard. Can people stop touching our hair😣 I loved this video I swear...am glad iam not suffering alone☺️☺️good job darling
I think most people would be looking at you because of your looks. Anybody is going to stare at a woman when she is stunning, especially if she dresses well.
Since you’re in Perth, make up and hair would be a problem. You wouldn’t have the same problem in Sydney or Melbourne, I’m not sure about Brisbane, Darwin or Adelaide. Also, we don’t tend to call people from Africa, blacks, that is an American or South African thing to say. I know some old people that say it, but both of them originally came from South Africa and they were both white.
Stella, really? You might be in self denial and embarrassed or just plain uncomfortable with it but you are beautiful! Unusually beautiful. People may be taking notice of you because of that alone. Also to be fair here, a friend of mine went to China a few years ago and being blonde, she attracted a lot of attention. Especially from ladies. Anyway, Oz is all the better for you being here!
G'day! I'm new to your channel and have only watched a couple of your videos, so I don't know much about you yet. I was wondering if Australia is a permanent move and what made you pick it as your destination?
It's not always racism, some people are just arseholes and will be rude to everyone. I am a white blonde haired male who was born here and I have copped more than my fair share of idiots as well.
Great video, but i doubt whether anyone would refer to you as black, which you are not from a visual standpoint, and as far as makeup is concerned, there are not many darker skinned women to sell to, but i'm sure if you went to a Mac store , you would find what you need. 👍
Oh Steve it happens all the time but quite frankly I don't mind it. Just like pple refer to Caucasians as white pple. Yeah Mac is a great store. Thanks so much for watching 🙂
Believe it or not Steve a lot of makeup brands actually don’t stock her colour. Most brands are extremely light shade bias there are only a couple of brands in Australia that would even stock a shade her colour. I know it sounds ridiculous. But it’s very true. She would have very limited options. In make up terms in Australia she would be considered almost too dark for 90 percent of foundation brands here. So she isn’t exaggerating the difficulty.
Absolutely true Anna. Thank God for big brands like Fenty beauty that are revolutionalising the makeup industry and now other big brands are tryna catch up by incorporating all skin tones. Thanks for your input 😍

Wow that is a new one for me, you are not a tourist sight, there is subtle racism ,someone has ever spat on the other side when they saw me, talking about foundation, I have never gotten my right shade of my foundation, you covered everything on this video, and your experience with someone touching your hair is quite disturbing.........
im sorry but she is from a populartion with a large african american population australia dosnt have this so you shouldnt be shocked if they cant acomidate every one of your needs it isnt racist its ecnomics 101 if theres not a huge demand then there wont be a huge market
11:02 "Other people" please tell me who are these other people? What are their names? Where did this happen? If this is real then it is very serious. You say it was not you but you want to make sure everyone hears about it. Things you can not be certain of. Who said this and where and when did it happen?
Young lady, the truth is that when you marry white(which you have a right to), you live in a small bubble. Read up OJ Simpson and how USA divided along racial line on the court verdict. I am African and live in USA. I was in Sydney Australia in 2005. In the clubs, the Aussies would run out of the urinal, with resentment, when they see me. There was an arts festival in kings cross. The mayor of sydney publicly said: If you are Lebanese, leave Australia, all in response to the riots in Bondi beach. You said you have been there only six years. My tour was before your time. Also, have visited the aboriginals for an interview of their experience? It may take some time before you see the real Australia.
I have been to different countries in Europe and I experienced so much racism to extend of being chased out of shops and restaurants. I remember one time when I was in Paris, pple could not even sit next to me on the train despite my seat being empty but whenever another seat became vacant they scrabbeled for it. I heard people say nasty things on my face. The fact that people are civilized in Australia and I have never experienced any kind of outright aggression in Australia, I'm absolutely greatful. I also work in a big company and I'm not discriminated on for being different. Please pardon my optimism but again I was sharing my own experience and no one's else.
I find that the best way to survive in Australia is to stay at the Feet of Christ our Redeemer and also to mix with your own race. No disrespect to the other races.
Wow did you just hear what you just said are you hearing what you saying it's not as bad as other places racism is racism you experience racism you just don't know what racism is the time the lady asked you to take a picture a treating other people different from what they treat you just look at what you are saying they throw a racism and do and from the point of when you first went to school wow wow

90% Chinese? I don't know what college or uni you went to but that but 90% Chinese is extra extraordinary, or a gross exaggeration. And as to not seeing many Australians at uni I think you mean you didn't see many Anglo-Saxon Australians. Half of those Chinese and Indians are probably Australians.
I think she was trying to say Australians who are Caucasian. A lot of people think that the original Australian are whites born in Australia. Which is ridiculous. All ppl from different background born and raised in Australia are Australians.
It's not an exaggeration. Some courses such as accounting, business at some institutions have exceptionally high numbers of international students and many of those students come from China and an increasing number also from India.
People would be staring at you because you are beautiful. Where you live also would dictate how friendly people are. I am not sure about Perth but i know from experience people are not as friendly in Melbourne as they are in Brisbane and Darwin.
It is not racist to prefer your own culture to the exclusion of others. Every time the Olympics is on the only mixed teams are Protestant Christian. All the African States are homogeneous, so too China, India, Japan etc. So are they the real racists then for not embracing multi culturalism? You're just a pawn of the Pope. Being an Anglophile is not racist, it is actually racist on the part of the one that makes the distinction.

We are all individuals and it's only fair that we give everyone a 'fair go!'
Thanks for your input again
I'm always understanding of that and try to give others an opportunity to learn about my culture as I learn from them.
We are all just trying our best 😊
@@stellaadlyke656 see that's what makes you a true blue Aussie mate😀😀 some of us will ask a lot of questions about your culture because we a genuinely interested. Different backgrounds make for an interesting diversity
And a more rounded community. My view is live and let live. As long as it's not hurting others. Most new Aussies enjoy the laid back attitude of most people here. You shouldn't forget your original home or it's culture and Australia is built on different people from different walks of life coming together in a bigger community. We enjoy seeing different cultures, learning about them and often are interested to see how others live. Different ethnicities also bring new and exciting foods. Sorry I'm male and think with my stomach 😁I watch a lot of cooking shows because my wife's a chef . I really want to try some African dishes as they look delicious . Anyway I won't hold you up any longer. It was lovely to chat. I really hope life is good for you and I'm glad you chose to come to Australia. Wishing you wellness and success. 😀
Thanks mate. Was nice chatting too.
Here is a plug for African cuisine

Have a lovely day too and keep spreading the love 😊
Since you’re in Perth, make up and hair would be a problem. You wouldn’t have the same problem in Sydney or Melbourne, I’m not sure about Brisbane, Darwin or Adelaide.
I think I can let people enjoy taking picture with me😂😂😂
Hahaha that taking photo with I have never had🤣🤣🤣🤣guuurl survival in this country is for the fittest...also getting a job is haaaaaaaard. Can people stop touching our hair😣
I loved this video I swear...am glad iam not suffering alone☺️☺️good job darling
Thanks beautiful. Our hair is gorgeous and that's why it can be a bit fascinating 😍
Oh yeah it is very beautiful just keep off☺️
Oh yes. I wonna buy one of those tshirts written.. 'Don't touch my hair!' I will keep one for you lol
Hahaha please I need one before I find myself in places I shouldn't ☺️
I think most people would be looking at you because of your looks. Anybody is going to stare at a woman when she is stunning, especially if she dresses well.
You're too kind 😊. Thanks for watching
I see you have a copy of Americanah by Amamanda in your background, funny book:)
Hi Pulane!
You got a good eye. She's one of my favorite writers. Have you read any of her other books?
Hi there, read all of her books! Absolutely enjoy Nigerian writers.
Stay well
The 90% Chinese you probably talking about is either their Australians or came overseas.
China is a major market for Australian universities and a huge number of international students come from there.
Which bursary or scholarship did you get to the university
I didn't get scholarship. My parents helped me pay my school fees
That's absolutely true. Perth is slowly getting there, a lot more African products nowadays.
Thanks for watching 😊.
Aaaw Peter that is super kind of you. Thanks so much for the love ❤
G'day! I'm new to your channel and have only watched a couple of your videos, so I don't know much about you yet.
I was wondering if Australia is a permanent move and what made you pick it as your destination?
Hi
Can u help to get scholarship to study in australia
Try been a Australian Aboriginal
You were shocked that someone asked for a pic, girlllll thats our everyday life in india🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, try being white in Asia
😂😂😂one of the positive comments here love it.
It's not always racism, some people are just arseholes and will be rude to everyone. I am a white blonde haired male who was born here and I have copped more than my fair share of idiots as well.
what part
Thanks for your input 😍
exactly its suply and demand its same as hair dressers australia dosnt have darker skined ppl most are moca at best
@@annak7598 its not bias its knowing the market if ur making a ton of darker shades and they dont sell then u end up having a ton of make up that expires losing the vendor money
Don't lie because I live in Australia to and is best country to live
1 australia is along way away from africa so yeah there not gona have as many options as you guys in usa since usa has a larger african population up untill recently africans in australia wasnt a thing that goes for both cosmetics and hair btw never understood ppl who go to over countrys and only eat stuff they could of gotten in ur home country why bother leaving just saying
The sound of that voice...
Where do you live in Australia? It's weird that people look at you in public, I was under the impression that their was a lot of diversity.
Yeah I live in Perth. I also really get shocked because there are enough black people in Perth 🙂. Thanks so much for watching. Are you in Australia as well?
@@stellaadlyke656 maybe you get people looking at you because of your good looks
Aaaw thanks so much Samuel 🙂
Wow take a photo with you ? Wow that is a new one for me, you are not a tourist sight, there is subtle racism ,someone has ever spat on the other side when they saw me, talking about foundation, I have never gotten my right shade of my foundation, you covered everything on this video, and your experience with someone touching your hair is quite disturbing.........
Tell me about it hun. The subtle racism is real 😃. Thanks so much for watching darling
Apparently you can make foundation with cocoa powder. If you research it you can find a recipe. I never tried it myself as I no longer wear make up.
im sorry but she is from a populartion with a large african american population australia dosnt have this so you shouldnt be shocked if they cant acomidate every one of your needs it isnt racist its ecnomics 101 if theres not a huge demand then there wont be a huge market
Very great❤️❤️
11:02 "Other people" please tell me who are these other people? What are their names? Where did this happen? If this is real then it is very serious. You say it was not you but you want to make sure everyone hears about it. Things you can not be certain of. Who said this and where and when did it happen?
You only get out, what you put in. You clearly are not afraid to put in!
@Handsome Hobo thank you for your comment sir You made me realise that my way of thinking is wrong.
With racism i find, you thing its changing and then bang it hits you again 😢
Yes it's pretty sad indeed but we are still making small steps forward.
20 dollars is too much for food
Depends what you're eating.
You are Beautiful Every Man Looks You 🤩......
Thank you 😍
I don't think you need any beauty products. Just sayin.
Thanks Wally 😍
To dam expensive for Aussies to go to uni
It's a lot cheaper for Aussies to go to uni in Australia than it is for international students.
It is SACHA.
Thanks so much for the recommendations. I will certainly check them out 🙂
@@stellaadlyke656 if you can PM me I am married to a Kenyan, we live in Margaret River (3 hrs south)she can be a good info contact if you want and you would be welcome to stay...
Let me take you to an all-white pub in the Outback of Australia sister on a Friday night and I guarantee you will have a different Outlook of Australia you have no idea I am Aboriginal man with a police background and I know the danger that could come to you if you were to travel to these parts stay safe my young sister choose your friends wisely
Will do. Thanks for watching 😊
Aaaw thanks so much Jo for your kind words 😍
Hello Dear, i will like to get in touch please
Hi,
Please follow me on insta @adlykedownunder
It is not racist to prefer your own culture to the exclusion of others. Every time the Olympics is on the only mixed teams are Protestant Christian. All the African States are homogeneous, so too China, India, Japan etc. So are they the real racists then for not embracing multi culturalism? You're just a pawn of the Pope. Being an Anglophile is not racist, it is actually racist on the part of the one that makes the distinction.
South Africa has a diverse team.
