Damien Barber - Private Ortheris' Song (Live at Hartlepool Folk Festival 2017)

The final night of our 2017 festival was entirely given over to 'The Barrack-Room Ballads', an all-star celebration of Rudyard Kipling's verse and Peter Bellamy's settings of same. This is one of Bellamy's lesser-known settings of Kipling (the text comes from The Courting of Dinah Shadd) but it's no less powerful for that!
