I love these re runs of the old shows bc I sure didn’t remember to look at the 45’s & 90’s coming off of bull quartz! I feel empowered now 😁 There’s a place not far that has a nice quartz outcropping and lots of float - I’m going to go back and check the 45/90 deg angles for mineralization and I’ll let you know if it’s a success…

I'm about to start prospecting for gold here soon. I've been wanting to try this forever. It must be amazing holding a gold nugget in your hand. I see why people like to play treasure hunting games because its so much fun. I will enjoy it even if i work my ass off cause it will still be better than working it off in most of these factories, atleast its something that is fun to me, if its hard work, its hard work.. I live in Southwest Virginia and there are some nice rivers around which I'm going to go hit with a pan here soon, hopefully if i pick the right spots, dig down deep and take Jeffs advice I will be able to rake up a little bit of placer soon. I cant wait to get a metal detector when i can get a little more spending money. I'm a fast learner for the most part but i really wish i had a mentor and need one. I would like to do this job or side hustle forever!

I'm not exactly sure why but the bingo industry is supposed to go from around 60B (last year) to around 150B in 2030. (Pipe dreams, my dad used to say.) And The Native Americans in south America used to make biochar, it is pretty easy, but I can't make fires in my neighborhood, But I think pipes could be involved, they were in my dream, big industrial pipes!.@@Askjeffwilliams

    Reminds me of Geology 101,
On a field trip in Nevada, town of Nixon, Pyramid Lake,
Winnemucca Dry lake bed, my professor Mr. Oldham, I thought was about to have an orgasm or heart attack when I found Red Basalt.
And, I asked what it was.
He was so excited about it, I asked if he wanted it and other questions about it which I never got an answer.
I gave him to the count of 3 to say he wanted or I'm keeping it, as he was so happy like a puppy peeing all over the place, he just stared at it..
    I still have it..
An area south of Pyramid Lake is rich with all sorts of minerals, i found lot of Garnet and Opalized Wood, but not Gold even though there was an old claim in an rotting tobacco tin..
