Chad needs to give classes in being an effective and active listener. He does it so well. You can actually see him listening, and that's not something you get to visualize often. I especially enjoy the loving way he listens when Erin speaks.

When you have a mate who cares most about your walk with Jesus, who wants your marriage to be built on the scriptures and who always wants to seek God with you for His will, and for your children, it's the most wonderful thing in the world. My husband always prayed for and with me. I miss his prayers so much.

As a Pastor’s wife, this podcast really blessed my heart and challenged me in my Bible Study, Prayer life, Service for the Lord in ministry, and sharing the Gospel whatever way I can while there is still time before the Rapture or my home going. Pray for Western NC. Hurricane Helene hit us very hard. Hurting people EVERYWHERE. A great and effectual door is opened to us right now. We just need the Lord to show us where He is working and then allow Him to use us as His conduit to be Salt, to Shine, and to Speak as He puts His Word in our mouths.

I listen to Scott Pauley’s “Enjoying the Journey” podcast while driving to work! He has also visited our church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and he is a phenomenal speaker! Thank you for sharing this video. I also agree with everything he has said especially when he answered the questions about “Why does God allow bad things to happen?” He answered this so well by saying “We live in a fallen world!” To the people that ask these questions, remember that “man” is full of sin and it is because of the sin of man that we have troubles, sickness and grief. God wants us to look to Him for all these issues and we need to show him how faithful we are as Christians.

The Lord drew me in 20 years ago and I’m still learning and I wish I would have had mentors like you and your husband in my earlier days! God bless you and your precious family and know that you’re even helping us older folks who never had guidance or mentoring and are trying hard not to stumble in our walk with The Lord❤️

When things happen and we're tempted to ask why, we need to realize we're asking the wrong question. The right questions to ask are what and how...what would God have me do with this situation, and how would He have me glorify Him through it. Simply changing the questions we ask will change our whole attitude towards the situation. Doesn't mean we won't still hurt, but we will walk through it differently if we view it correctly through the right questions.

I like this evangelist. He speaks extremely well, and seems very inclusive of the different Christian religions. Being a very ecumenical Catholic and having taught all the major religions of the world in my 33 year high school history teaching career, I look for similarities and not differences. So many fundamentalist preachers dwell on differences of groups under the Christian umbrella. This man did not do that at all. Thank you for having him speak. ❤️

Right out of the gate he laughed at the first person's questions and invalidated the pain & concern :(. There is a way to share your thoughts without being condescending. Why would that person feel anything other than shame or condemnation for asking that question? Why put all the responsibility on a victim of church hurt, instead of simply showing validation & compassion, and putting responsibility, accountability & consequences on the one who did the harm? I love so much of your channel, it makes me remember the sweetest days I had in my younger years when I stayed home & homeschooled my young children. But I wish we would all not be so quick to tell victims to show mercy, and be quicker to tell & hold church leaders responsible. This, too, is love & truth. It's not loving, however, to misplace responsibility from the one doing to the harm onto the victim, and then invalidating the victim's pain.

As I watch this video I'm thinking of my husband he's a believer and he has been born again but ......he has ADHD which means he suffers with many issues with having this, I have told him many times that God made him this way and that God wants him to call upon God for direction to overcome the many frustrated situations that come with ADHD in my daily quite times God keeps showing me how to deeply seek Him how to completely trust Him and not figure out what to do. The holy Spirit lead me to post this as I was watching Chad a Erin asking the evangelist this last question I want so bad for my husband and I to pray together we did this for awhile but we stopped because my husband didn't like that I use a devotional he has his focus on the wrong areas about God he would rather argue about things that will take the joy away and not keep his heart open to God's many promises I'm asking for prayer for my husband and for him and I to study God's word together again thank you Teresa Zufelt I would love to hear from anyone about this on my messenger God bless

      @brendacluney2052 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

Yes, our sins are forgiven and we are justified through God. However, when we get saved that does not mean we will never sin again. We will! We must continually return to him to ask for forgiveness as 1 John 1:9 says. Does it mean we will not go to Heaven when we sin? Absolutely not! We will. This is where the forgiveness of our sins comes in. But there are two judgement seats in the Bible. The Judgement Seat of Christ will be for those who are unsaved and who have never come to Christ. That is not us who knows Him as his our personal Savior. But there is also the Bema Seat of Christ given in Revelation. You will want to learn more about that. We, as Christians, will stand before Christ at the Bema Seat. This is not to judge eternity as the unsaved will face at The Great White Throne Judgement. But it is to judge our sin and what we did on earth while here. It does not mean God will decide Heaven or Hell for us but it means he will show our sins to everyone and we will lose rewards in Heaven and all other Christians will see our sins. We were born sinners and although God forgives our sins when we ask him He does not nor can he forget! We remain sinners on this earth as no man can be made perfect until Christ comes or takes us home. At that point, we become Christ-like completely. In the meantime, we must continue to go to the Lord every time we sin and once again ask forgiveness. Sounds like you may need to study and learn a little more from what you are saying. If you can study and ask questions of other believers who are true believers. It is best if you have a Pastor that knows the Bible to first go to them to understand this more. I am happy you know Christ and are going to Heaven! Try to learn to understand more why we are all still sinners even after we accept Christ and ask forgiveness of our sins. I hope what I said helps. I have been a Christian since I was young and also graduated from 2 Bible Colleges so I do understand this yet I also learn more every single day in my devotional time.

@GymJill93 well sometimes there are gonna be things we don't understand but that's where FAITH in God comes into play FAITH is the evidence of things hoped for, substance of things not seen..Id rather not be able to understand some things and TRUST that GOD has a plan bc honestly I've been to hell and back in my own life and until almost 4 yrs ago when I finally said ok God I give up, you can have all of it. That I realized how he truly had his hand on me, I'm a recovered drug addict, that's jus the tip of what I've been thru and that's growing up as a PK..anyway just talk to Jesus he knows ur heart..hes there I promise

What do good people go through bad things? We live in a fallen world where the enemy is the one who seeks to kill and destroy John 10:10. All evil comes from satan.

11:20 Scott Pauley said the oldest book of the Bible is Job, but this is a myth. Or you could call it an assumption based on poor research, but one that has been passed around for so long, it’s accepted as fact. (This is just like when folks share a Facebook post without checking if the info is factual. Don’t take everything you hear at face value just because someone you respect said it. Be a critical thinker and do the research.)
It’s actually impossible to determine “which book of the Bible is the oldest because the ancient world did not have books and authors as we think of them today. In ancient times, there were primarily authoritative speakers who delivered their message to hearers. There were professional scribes who may have written down the message, but the resulting documents were not copied and distributed. A copy may have been stored in an archive somewhere, but the average person would not have had access to it, even if he was able to read. Speaking and hearing dominated the culture, just as reading and writing dominate ours. As a result, ancient people were much less concerned about when a book was written than we are. They would have been much more concerned that the message they heard was from an authoritative source-even if the message had been repeated several times.”
“Some will point out that the book of Job appears to record events that took place before the time of Moses, and it is thought by many to be the oldest book of the Bible. However, the theological emphases of the book of Job seem to indicate that the concerns the book is addressing are much later, perhaps from the exilic period, and addressed to Israelites. So, while the book may contain information about events that happened long before, the book seems to have been written much later than Genesis was written.”

I have a question. What do you do when you are being bullied for three years by a particular woman and she uses her children? What then do you do? It was something this woman had been doing for years and no one held her accountable. You move on.

God doesn’t give all bad things. As a parent, would you put sickness or disease on your children to teach them a lesson? Of course not! Then if God is good and loving, and you are his child, why in the world would you think He would do that to His children? He wouldn’t. There is a devil, who wants nothing more than to kill, steal, destroy, and separate. There is also a spirit of infirmity, generational curses, and familiar spirits. If you’re not born again, you’re not spared from these things. But if you are a born again, child of God, and you are obedient in giving tithes the offerings, and faithful to Him, and in Church attendance, His hand is on your life. God protects those who are His. So stop blaming God for every bad thing that happens and start turning it back on who it belongs to, which is the devil. Start praising God for his goodness, and mercy, and faithfulness in all situations. Even if you don’t understand. Have a heart of gratitude. 😊

I don't have a problem with God or Jesus,it's Christina I have problems with, cause they can be very pushy on what they believe, the way I was raised, that faith and political beliefs are private,if someone is interested in what you believe, then it's ok to show them but you don't force your beliefs on others if they don't want to hear it.

Question 3....Romans 3:10-12 (none are good people). We are of sinful flesh that is dying. Our outward flesh suffers because of sin that entered the world. Romans 5:12. However when trusting in Christ' death, burial, and resurrection, we live eternally by the Spirit (in heaven )or those that don't believe die spiritually for eternity in hell. Romans 5:3-5 God tells us of the tribulation in life and also how we can glory in it through the spirit. This is all King James Version. I Timothy 2:4 It is God's will for all men to be saved. However he gives you the choice to receive His gift of salvation (heaven). Otherwise you are automatically going to hell. God doesn't send you to hell. Your choice does by rejecting his gift of salvation (death, burial, resurrection)
The loving, forgiving, merciful God gave us a way out of hell. God is blameless! Colossians 1.:22. He is the judge, but you are the decision maker of your own eternity.
