Oddly enough I just watched the original version of this video earlier today. But it was on the in the backround while I was cleaning so this is a good opportunity to hear it out again

Graces i remember having people tell me about Blair Witch being real when i was in high school and the futility of trying to explain to them that if the footage was actually real it would be in an evidence locker in some police station somewhere and not being shown in theaters.
The more things change the more they stay stay the same.
...how depressing.
And if it HAD leaked to theaters, it would be quickly pulled due to whatever C&Ds were served.
Hearing Bob say "audience turnover once every few years" and thinking that refers to me because I still feel like a new viewer but then realising i've been watching for 11 years since the first run on escapist gives me a very strange feeling. How many audience turnovers have I stuck through? Am I one of the "original viewers" now?

I find it delightful the stupidest thing they could've done (fight it and expose it even worse) is still with us today. Bonus points that back then they had options to get away with it.

Stuff like this needs to be documented and remembered, ugly parts and all, so that we can learn from the past and not make the same mistakes. There's a lot of really historically important events and things that are horrible to think about, but that doesn't reduce the importance.

I love how people will complain about today's media when back then they made a movie about implied gorilla sexual assault.
I’ve read a pretty crazy compilation of novels written by the dude who made Arsene Lupin famous in Japan.
One of them, BaRuuba and the Golden Lion, likely features a villainous gorilla’s unintended groping of BaRuuba’s lover Grace. Geez, wtf!?
