We are planning to do a follow up review. We want to be as objective as possible and for that reason we want to use it long enough. So far it's holding up great, We clean it with the All-Clad powder, whenever needed. Can't compare with the Polished because we only have the Brushed. Overall it is a keeper and we are happy

Hello, I would love to do a detailed review, once we use it long enough, so I can be as objective as possible. So far I used the 3 quart sauté pan for deep frying and had hard time cleaning the inside from the grease. I used it for cooking meat and it cleaned just fine. For deep frying doughnuts the deeper 3 quart sauce pan probably is a good option, but after knowing how difficult it is to clean, I don't know if I would recommend using All clad for deep frying at all. I ordered the All Clad cleaning solution and see if it helps next time I use it for deep frying.
@@yohanes2034 Hello, what I meant was that the little oil speckles occurring from the deep frying were difficult to get out from the inside of the pan. I was able to clean it with the All -Clad cleaner after few applications.

95% of the time we hand wash them and we did wash them in the dishwasher as well. They still look like the first day we bought them, no deterioration or signs of use. We always wash them the way the manufacturer recommends. Never used a metal scrubber alway used a regular dish sponge. When need it, soak them in hot water with dish soap for 1 hr and wash with a sponge. Always works. Every now and than we use All Clad stainless steel cookware cleaner (found it in HomeGoods or Amazon), it really helps to bring the shine back. Really happy so far.

When we had to decide between the D3 and D5, we researched them a lot and some of the main differences that we found out are: - D3 comes only in polished finish and D5 comes in brushed and polished. (ours is brushed) - D5 supposedly responds slower to heating, which should help for cooking the food more evenly. D3 heats up and cools faster - D5 is more expensive and also heavier - there are some design differences in the handles - they both have lifetime warranty and are indestructible I personally can't handle the D5 with one hand, my husband can, but it is heavy for sure! Hello, We have both sets and use both of them. The Henckel's set shows a little wear mainly on the outside on the bottom , but the inside is in great like new condition. I am really happy how it cleans and nothing ever sticks in it. I want to use the All-Clad set a little longer before expressing an opinion about it. Thank you!
The only thing I don't care for is that the lids are non see through. I'm happy with my Cuisinart. You must be a gourmet chef. That would justify the price.
