Maaan Jacobs loved the Raiders. That’s why he still speaks on the Raiders. He’s obviously hurt we weren’t as loyal as he was. He literally played on a franchise tag after being the rushing leader. Then played with a subpar o-line the following season. I feel his pain.

I mean, I like Jacobs. But that assessment is poor. He was the rushing leader for 1 year. His output dropped by half after sitting out the off-season with essentially the same offensive line from the previous year & the same playbook. He was clearly a half step or full step slower than the previous year & White outplayed him toward the end of the season with the same average QB play and the same average o-line play. I hope he does well. But paying that guy more than he’s worth out of loyalty is bad for business.

Jacobs got greedy. He was injured too often and came off his worst year of his career. He looked solid this season when he actually played but he shoulda taken the ok money for a year and seen the changes. Mcdaniels ruined this team and locker room. Jacob’s production fell off in 2023 so I think it’s a good move to go with Zues as starter.
