Prices seem to be dropping slightly just like second hand market in general. Interest rates and zero gdp growth having its effect maybe. Will continue to drop over next 12 months imo.
BUYING: how much is commission and what would i need to attend and potentially purchase? Debit Card / BS tx? - How long can it be kept there awaiting collection - any charge? SELLING: I have a 62 modified Ford Anglia 105e, with original log book and reg 99 DVA, dry stored by me for nr 50 yrs, however will require full resto - How is this handled? Do I just park it up on a trailer in compound with a Sales sheet? - What is commission / charge if not sold at acceptable price?

another question re buying, one or two prices were so keen it would have been tempting to buy online...but, being a pensioner, no idea how to How is assurance of payment / validity of bids covered How do u make bids in real time where seconds count / how quickly are they acknowledged? Is there access to car details and sold prices for last few mths? thanks all A Newby
You would first need to reregister with the site, you then login on the day of sale and wait for the lot number / numbers Keep in mind the Auction does charge a fee, that fee varies on the amount the car / vehicle sells for. If you did buy online ''which IMO'' is a bit of a gamble - You can pay either a deposit, then the rest of the balance when you collect it, or pay the full amount ''again keep in mind the auction FEE'' Id imagine they accept most cards, VISA - MASTERCARD etc You can always have a good look over the cars on the auction site days before the auction starts. Don't be afraid to call them and get some details over the phone, Id still highly recommend going along, it can be a great day out and go as early as possible and have a VERY GOOD LOOK around, take a note of what you fancy, LOT Numbers etc Hope that Helps you.
You would have to send some pictures of your car. Plus pictures of paperwork iE logbook how much you want if you take time to describe it properly there should be someone to give a roughy estimate for you. there is a company that makes new panels for them but they are very expensive.

Front arches tastefully flared, 4 headlights let into the front, similar to vitesse but at more menacing angle, de bumpered, Lotus Cortina wheels, 70s rally style dash, vitesse remote shift with 6 inch gear shift - Original seats, even headlining Re-worked engine, hand flowed ports, 28/36 Webber - was quick car - I stripped and rebuilt engine, polishing ports, valves, head etc + new clutch...back in 70s No holes in doors, boot, wings, roof, bonnet unlike so many Turned down a £1500 sight unseen recovery and collection from barn - should surely be worth min £4500 + £1500 registration value? All parts (bonnet like new, all window aperture flanges under rubbers like new) and was ready to go back on the road in the 70s but life took over
Why do auctioneers feel the need to insult punters just because they think a bid is too low? They, of all people, should understand the concept of a supply-and-demand market, so do they think that rudeness will drive up the price?

You should also check with DVLA to see if the number plate is still on there computer

They are all big boys at car auctions and most know the auctioneers, try and think of it as banter but I’m guessing you don’t go to auctions
There just trying to get the best price for the seller 🤔
Checking the MOT history of some of these cars would stop me from buying most of them, and also because the MOT system is a scam in itself !
ANYONE Buying online without actually seeing the car up close has a lot of trust, for me that transaction is just bonkers mental.
