OMG I see that now. That has got to be incredibly challenging when they spin and switch sides !
@@BachataKnight Yes. I tried crossing my hands to keep the hand of the man I was scoring on the same side. It still got confusing. I found my self trying to keep track of the clicks I mis-credited and compensate for them by clicking extra or not clicking so it would balance out.
I don't understand what they were going for with that system. I really hope they change that and let the scorecounters focus on just one guy each, like in the regular duels.
Does Marcin have any hip protection? I know his gambeson covers it a bit, but I'm curious since it doesn't look like his brig covers it
If he does it's probably padding. Him and I (that was the first time I've seen him in person) have very similar kits. We both seem to also do the short chausses with high socks lol. Our brigs are kinda short. I didn't notice any hard hidden armor. Myself, I have a hard plastic plate sewn in under my Gambeson at the hips. So it's stiff.
@@BachataKnight He doesn't, his dueling brig was made out of what he called horse blankets and plastic riveted to a fabric shell.. The dude just tanks hits.

I fought him in Longsword, my first opponent. I just didn't have anyone with me to record it, or any of my duels actually. Which kind of sucked. But I did post a screen recording of him and I from the livestream on my tiktok. The video quality kind of stinks though. I learned a lot actually from getting beat down in Longsword. After being rather successful til now. I'm thankful I got the opportunity to have that match up. It was quite an experience.
