But these fighters come from all over the world to train in Holland. They are not Dutch themselves. Corbett is not going to be a walkover for Spong. He is one dangerous man, with excellent timing and KO power. Don't underestimate him!
funny how Corbett's greatest weapons are elbows and Spongs' management made it clear that no elbows were allowed. I lost a lot of respect for Spong after this fight and gained a hell of a lot for Corbett
I'm a huge fan of Corbett. You guys have to understand that elbows can cause cuts more than any other strike. Corbett could have turned down the fight. Spong's managemnt must worry about his career more than anything.

Out in the open on the feet he is superior and without the clinching available in muay thai I think Corbett was at a disadvantage. he's used to muay thai while spong who was already better at the "kickboxing" part has been doing nothing but that for a while now. what Spong was winning that fight up until when nathan went south paw spong was telegraphing that knee that got him knocked out for me that was a clear knock out but corbett got real lucky
you obviously don't know about Australia and Mauy Thai. Australia has the best Thai fighters outside of Thailand and the best muay thai fighters in the world when it comes to the heavier divisions.The Dutch are K1 specialists..
