Mount Mansfield: Mapping the Alpine Tundra

Cale Kochenour, graduate student at The Pennsylvania State University, presents his work on mapping the alpine tundra features of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's tallest mountain, to VT's Enterprise GIS Consortium. This work uses object-based image analysis (OBIA) on Vermont's high-resolution imagery and elevation data to map these alpine features.
