    Nothing Josh does surprises me anymore,it just continues to remind me how very much of a professional he is. This channel puts out very great content along with a great narrative by Josh. Not cocky just very focused and very good at what you do. Thanks for sharing and all stay safe out on those highways.

    As always, I am very impressed by your skills and your love of your work. That threading of the tractor and trailer between the rotators was particularly impressive. I imagined some symphony music as I watched that. I'm leery of the equalizer sling. Wrecked, twisted trucks are inherently imbalanced. One glitch and the load twists and the rope plays through the snatch block until it hits the shackle at the end and a massive impact load results. Not a pretty prospect.

    I saw 8 rigging points, one balancing pulley, 4 doubled hoisting lines, 2 rotating booms, and 2 precision equipment operators all working in unison. That was a show worth watching. The extensive preemptive rigging was well worth it, and allowed that mangled load to be recovered and positioned exactly with no re-rigging required, and no surprises. As Josh said, "Textbook!"

    • @PepesTowingService
      @PepesTowingService  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup, I always over rig. When it broke free from the guard rail, that was unexpected and exactly the reason I rig as safe as I do. If my rigging was half assed, that could have been dangerous. But it was so secure, that it did not matter.

Get a magnetic plate cover (with your logo on it if you want) and put it over the license plate of the vehicle you're recovering. Got to remember to remove it when the job is done. That should save you from going through the entire video footage and editing the license plate out.

    the weight in those trailers would be in the neighborhood of 13.25 tons in each trailer, a totla of 26.5 to 27 tons in both trailers. the aprox tare weight of the tractor and both trailers aprox 13 tons or 26,000. gross would be close to 40 tons 80000 lbs.
    I have been a driver in the aggregate industry for over 10 years. I do recognize the single taillights and super single tires. Won't disclose.
