This game will forever live on as some of the greatest video game memories I have. Being 10 - 12 at the time playing this on my Gameboy Advance it was always difficult for me to pass the goat headed boss. My dad at the time had a good friend named, "Tom." When we went to visit him one day I found out he was fond of games. He inquired about what I was playing all the time and I told him. Even that I had some troubles. It may have been more than one attempt for him but I always remembered him beating it so fast. He helped me get past the boss as well as learn some game tactics. This ended up being one of the first games I finished to completion. A few years passed and one day I heard he died of cancer. It was sadly some time since I seen him and I didn't get to tell him I finished it. The experience I have with that man is this great game and I wanted to share how much this game really played a role in life for me.
My story isn't that heart breaking but I also connect good memories with this game. Going into the boss rooms, never knowing what kind of boss comes next and getting absolutely destroyed by every single one of them at least a couple of times because I was always underleveled when I found a new boss room. Ahhh. The good old days.
Man. For a GBA game this had excellent music. I remember as kid I'd revisit old stages JUST to listen to the music. Most of these tracks bring strong nostalgic feelings.
i heard about castlevania from symphony of the night reviews but my first actualy play was circle of the moon. both hocked me to a point i am planning to buying psp go to play it on handheld instead of pc emulator. and looking for the cartages in ebay's like website.
The first time I heard the menu theme (Requiem) I legit jumped in my seat. I never thought that such a sound could come from a GBA game. Still gives me chills to this day, and when I play it loudly on my cellphone, people still look at me like "whatchu watchin'?"
You know I actually love the entire soundtrack, and this track has an amazing start, but it's weird, I actually liked it less over time after hearing it constantly in-game lol.
Hell yeah this one and the into song when you fall down the pit are the ones I was looking for. The guitar strumming in this one with the flute like electronic sounds is so great.
This soundtrack ranks up there for me. I remember being a kid playing this game and feeling like the music was constantly playing on my emotions, as any good st should.
Everone has all but forgotten about the joys of the gameboy advance but this was one of my favorite and still is one of my favorite gameboy games only beaten by Prehistoricman now that was funner..... i think they should remake circle of the moon for the DS
Amazing game with an amazing soundtrack. Overlooked WAY too often. Favorites are Awake, Aquarius, Trick Manor, Clockwork and this is probably my favorite version of Illusionary Dance. But basically every track in this game is amazing in my opinion.
This OST was a great first introduction to the GBA. The GBA could already so much more than the old Gameboy, but adding this OST on top of it made it a really memorable experience.
This video needs a playlist with times, song names, and references to original games (in the case of remixes). And I love this game... Gonna play it again soon.
The best soundtrack of all GBA games I played. Thanks for posting this. My only gripe is the space between tracks. I keep thinking it's over and need to restart it!
This game is hard as fuck, especially if you explore the castle in the wrong order... I had bad memories about having my arse fucked in the Aquarium before getting the item to clean the water.
This game will always mean a lot to me... This was one of the first games I played after my brother left to live with our dad (our parents were divorced and I chose to stay with my mom when he went to stay with our dad) She was abusive and he wasn't, but during that time, this game kept me company. I cried a lot while playing it, and I felt like the characters even the villains were trying to console me XDDDDDDD lol I was 9 at the time. Sounds silly that this was 23 years ago, but Nathan Graves feels like a close friend never met but known. Idk lol laugh at me.
