He is a phenomenal guitar player = JNC is one-of-my Favorites . . . so Tasty with killer tones & phrasing.
The Barber Gain Changer has been on my board for over 12 years, The Tone Press over 10 years and the Burn Unit about a year. None will be replaced.
I love the 5-Watt / JNC team-ups. I’m definitely feeling Avengers vibes.
Some of the sweetest tones I've ever heard right there! Placed my order for the Barber 5WW BUSS pedal today. I already have a Barber Compact DD V.4 and it is the BEST pedal have ever tried (I have an Analogman KOT, a modded Analogman SD-9, and a modded Analogman TS-808). Barber pedals are CRIMINALLY underrated!

The 5WW BUSS pedal arrived today. What a great sounding piece of gear! I use mine plugged into a Metroamp JTM45 clone. Sounds really musical - I can’t get a bad sound out of it. Lots of gain range that suits a wide variety of styles of playing. Very happy with it!
Yet again we have another pedal that sounds quite delicious. Can’t wait to tinker with mine when it arrives. Great demo John!

I owned a Barber Electronics Tone Pump EQ! It was my go-to overdrive for 4-5 years before I sadly lost it at a gig. Even sadlier, the Tone Pump was discontinued by the time I lost it :(
I hadn't thought about Barber in a while. Glad to see he's still doing great work!

I like how it has some cool harmonics on the low notes. You can get similar tones with a tube AC30 by increasing the cut and setting the level for breakup, and turning your pickup tone knob to least amount of treble.
Now that’s a knife! Great demo! Nice job to you and Keith 👍🏼. Great playing. Another pedal to try would be a treat, Bearfoot FX Uber Bee, another great pedal. Let’s face it….it’s in the “Guy Handbook”, what’s better than a great pedal? Two great pedals 😌. Or more!!!

Seems like something of a 'Swiss Army knife' pedal. Perhaps a useful recording 'go to' for those that don't suffer option paralysis. Certainly some great tone in there.

Just to clarify, when you say bluesbreaker you mean the amp rather than the Marshall pedal - I don't think Dave's circuit has got anything to do with the BB pedal circuit, unlike say a king of tone but rather inspired by thev sounds of a JTM45 amp

I noticed that you had the Tone Knob cranked in a couple settings. Is the BUSS a dark sounding pedal by nature?

Best sound you've had for ages. You just can't beat an analog signal. The modellers all sound generic.
