Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian music icon. This is such a great song and performance. I saw Gordon Lightfoot live, 14 years ago, front row center, and I met him and his band after the show. May Gordon Lightfoot rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️🇨🇦
Gordon Lightfoot, great Canadian singer and songwriter, here we see him in his best time, we will never forget you friend, your legacy will always endure. Thank you TMS for giving us another gem of music that you have saved
A stellar album cut, as with all the others, from the 1974 "Sundown" album. Still have my original copy I received for my 8th birthday in 1979. Great clip! Thanks for this! 😃🎶❤
I saw him in concert in Portland Oregon about 3 months after this in May of 1974. He had that beautiful lush voice then. Such a sharp contrast to his vocal quality from the 2000 Live in Reno video.
I still remember the late Art Bell interviewing Gordon Lightfoot and rarely he interviews guests that has nothing to do with UFO's, the supernatural or parallel universes. Just a super fan who mentions GL a lot, plays his music on breaks and stated Gordon was his favorite artist. And GL listens to his show in Canada, too.

Just a man and his guitar... he was a phenomenal lyricist.
His songs told a story.
Happy Wednesday... thank you for sharing! 💖
The man was our last troubadour. Sadly missed . But the music lives on .
That just made me very happy indeed 😁.
He had that rare "voice of a lifetime." 👍✌️
...and the even rarer talent to write the songs that put that voice to good use

😮He will be missed greatly! Great musician and humble person!
That was a nice one! 😊
Rock On 👍
I was going to barber school when this song came out. All of us lady barbers thought it was so cool.
I was in my late 20's, I'm nearly 75. What a riot
Another classic musician.
He used to play at the Riverboat Coffee House, in Toronto, in the 60s. Unfortunately, I moved there just after he stopped.
That performance is a treasure!
AWESOME!
Love me a little Lightfoot!😊🤘
Gordon, the Canadian Treasure! 🍁🍁🍁

On this planet there’s not been one that did it any better than Mr Lightfoot
I wonder if the kids in the audience knew how great this guy and his band was.

I traveled this world with Gordon.
More Canadian than hockey and maple syrup and we never dropped the flag for this guy .... Inexcusable
