Fielder is a phenomenal passer for a big. Very unique in that aspect. He'd likely need to develop for a year or even 2 in the G-league though to even assess whether he'd be capable at the next level though.
I don't gamble, but if I did, I would bet that neither player ever plays a useful minute for the Sixers, who are in Win-Now mode. It will be hard enough to get an NBA roster spot for a proven guy like Jeff Dowtin or a high potential forward like Justin Edwards. I have a 50% odds that the Sixers will take back 2 players, when they trade KJM after Jan 15. The "filler" player would have to be waived, just to allow Dowtin a roster spot and be available for the post season.
@jerry25a What you said is very likely. But as he stated in the video ...I think they'd like to establish a type of farm system where their next young candidates are already within the system when thry need another young guy to fill a bench role. The ones who can't make it will either quietly fade away over time , or be locked into a role with the Gleague but no further. However a truly efficient farm system say like the heat have , will take a few years to streamline.
Max Fleider will be a great passer to contributing on rebounding and playing more physical to comparing like a young Petrusev and speed to helping out on the 76ers rotations of developing a 10 day training day contract.
These are just hopeful Blue Coats signings. Doubtful either will have a chance for a 2-way, and therefore neither will see the Sixers court this season. It means that that there are 19 players on the summer/training camp roster, with 2 more Exhibit 10 slots available. (14 on 6ers, 3 2-Ways and now 2 E-10s) The hope is that Morey is still trying sign 6'9" Keve Aluma, who never played in the NBA (5 yrs with Virginia Tech and 2 yrs starring in Korea). I just confronted both Morey and Aluma on X. Daryl must offer nothing less than a 2-Way and Keve should accept that 2-way if it was offered. Of course David Jones would have to be demoted to an E-10 if he would accept. Jones, who has been listed as a 6'6" forward was actually measured at only 6'3.5" w/o shoes at the 2024 Combine. Jones' wingspan is only 6' 6.75" and his reach is only 8' 4". By contrast, Justin Edwards is a legit 6'6" w/o shoes, has a 6' 10" wingspan and an 8' 6.5" reach. Meanwhile, Sixers need more insurance at the Big positions in case of injury, such as to Yabusele. I have no doubt that Nurse would trust Aluma in that case. 2-way players can be Active in up to 50 regular season games. After Jan 15, I expect Morey to try to move KJM for another true PF, with the help of draft capital. If successful, Caleb Martin would never have to guard PFs. Caleb would then take away playing time from Eric Gordon at SG and be a major upgrade. Getting Rockets Tari Eason (in addition to Keve Aluma) would have me project Sixers as the best team in the NBA.
I think 76ers 2nd best in East. We are going give the celtics & knicks a run for their money. The knicks they ass on they home court they cheated the 76ers in that 2nd game that series should have been 1-1. Brunson & hart should have been a foul on both player. The knicks showed ass at the well Fargo center like if it was their court. We will see in 2025 season & we will see the knicks on November 12th 2024. I can't stand the knicks because they brag to much. They talk about the 76ers all season long & off-season the are ready to do battle with the knicks & boston celtics.
I have RC-IV being better all around than Josh Hart, if only Nurse will put Ricky over KJM and give him the playing time he deserves (let Council make mistakes early on (don't want to put a leash on him, as was done by both Doc and Nurse to BBall Paul. Convincing Keve Aluma to sign a 2-way (demote Jones) would add security. Trading KJM for Tari Eason + several firsts, would be the sealer. Sixers would be the best in the NBA.
We're going to give Boston&New York a run for their money$$$ barring any injuries.#76ERS🏀🏀🏀

Didn't he call for the ball and hit a gw in summer league?
That’s the dude!
