Thank you for your video Evie, I found it very brave of you to relive your story, it is emotional and very moving to watch but also extremely informative. My daughter who was 16 at the time was diagnosed with NMDAR in March 2021 and your story shows so many similarities to hers, but obviously I saw it from a mothers perspective. I'm pleased to say she was diagnosed very quickly and received brilliant hospital care, she was in hospital for over 5.5 months. Fortunately she has made a full recovery, I think she has been one of the lucky ones and i am so grateful for this. Keep spreading the word, you are doing an amazing job, i searched high and low for any glimpse of hope to help me whilst she was ill, it really does help xxx

That’s such a long time to be in hospital, and now I am a Mother myself I really can’t imagine just how terrifying it is to see your child love through something so terrifying.
