how do deaf people understand language? it may sound stupid..But if you can not hear someone. How do you understand someone when they first speak? is it a sign thing?

Some of them know how to lip read, or there might be a sign language interpreter off camera.

THEY WERE NOT DEAF PEOPLE AT THE TIME. they were sick like hearing loss. (teen to adult younger) i feel bad for babies and kids because they not know what is going on and doctor forced parents do it. that's sad.

That is not true sir. The babies were all dead from birth. The teenage boy at 5:20 was deaf from birth. The teenage girl at 7:02 was deaf from birth.
I can understand - especially if you are hearing impaired - why you may not like technological progress. But they - and their parents who love them - have a right to make that choice.
Our world is a hearing world. Please don't criticize others who want to join it. It sounds biased.
