This. If someone complains about being fact checked or corrected, then it's usually because they know they're doing something wrong. And unfortunately in todays society and being globally connected, people can not only get away with it, but supported doing it because there's always others out there like them that'll either support them because they're the same, or not go check themselves because they're lazy.

      A) Trump and his father early in his adulthood ,after NYC's adoption of laws making certain "landlord practices" criminal, commits repeated discrimination of minorities in multiple cities, unchecked. And tools up a mob money laundering boost of his coffers, learned from his dad and Roy Cohn at the same time. He has NEVER been legit.
      B) Trump spewing toxic Asbestos particulate, in clouds, onto the New York City streets and air spaces. More recently: Trump violating the FCC Broadcaster's Oath HE TOOK by uttering a criminal level, violence inciting, racist hoax on a national broadcast. That is NOT protected speech. That is HATE SPEECH, nation damaging hate speech, and it is specifically what is NOT protected. And especially if when committed, harm and damage was done.
      C) Trump walked in to the dressing room of minor children after deliberately waiting until they were in near full undress, later bragging to Howard Stern and the nation that he "had a right to do it". AND STILL believes that to this day.
      D) Trump was directly responsible for no less than 13 deaths of Ukraine soldiers when he held up a fully approved and packaged, waiting on the tarmac ordnance and munitions shipment as he CRIMINALLY attempted to involve the president of Ukraine in his new "Smear Biden" campaign strategy. His Quid Pro Quo manipulation attempt got him impeached, but it should have gotten him reviled and decried by all. It brought shame to the nation, and I must be the only one who could tell that Volodymyr wanted badly to do America a huge favor as he stood next to the man who encouraged Putin to invade his nation.
      E) Trump has lied and been a criminal his entire adult life with not one day passing where he did not commit a crime, or lie or both together.
      F) Trump is a pyramid scam wannabe winner who could not even win at that and he is still doing it. He may know he is now finally going down and the hate dirigible that is Donald John Trump is beginning to burst and leak. So expect to see lies and hatred spewed all about in all directions as his date with his keepers approaches.
      G) Or blaming others for his failures. To him that tallies as another sucksess.

Stephen asked the critical question about the debate rules.
The rules for debates need to evolve in response to the current era of rampant misinformation. With some candidates spreading lies at unprecedented levels, it's crucial that debate moderators take on the responsibility of fact-checking in real time. Without this, millions of viewers are left misinformed, especially if they haven't been closely following the news or don't verify claims on their own. Fact-checking during debates would help ensure that the public receives accurate information, fostering a more informed electorate.
