To the person that makes these, I just want to say thank you. I'm 49 y/o and have been playing 35 years. I've played in bands ranging from blues to jazz fusion and have reached a high level of proficiency, but most people would not know that I have zero theory background other than some rudimentary knowledge of scales and chords. I had huge gaps (and still do) in my understanding of intervals and root/non root/passing tones. Even though I can improvise blues and jazz, I was bound to the same devices 90% of the time. These video have expanded my level of understanding so much. I've never been one to just sit and learn something with no music, so the combination of the tracks/chords/scales has just opened my mind immensely over the last two years, at least. Again, thank you.
This is great. Been practicing daily to your tracks for over a year. Got so used to watching the graphics, that I play better with my eyes closed than by looking at the guitar.
I usually dont comment on these videos but my golly gosh was this the best backing track ive ever heard. Thank you so much this has fundamentally changed me as a person ❤❤
Curious if the Nile Rodgers Tiny Desk show gave you the idea to do this? As soon as I saw it I decided to learn some of his music to work on rhythm. This is perfect! Thanks!

You can also use the E Melodic Minor for a jazzy vibe. Love it! 👍🏼🤘🏼
Or a Bach vibe for that matter!
