Yeah that color thing was so shit. Im sorry for the cursing but that's the truth. When I watched the battles, I couldn't see the colors because of the camera angle, so sometimes I couldn't recognized who voted for who.
Dude it’s easier to understand with the colors… It’s not complicated to identify one beatboxer in blue and one beatboxer in red…

Hello people, to clear things up Ice DIDN'T THROW the microphone. The wire got stepped on and it got pulled away when he tried giving it. He got caught off-guard so he accidentally dropped it.

Wow! The way I see it, Ice’s first round is literally perfect. Incredible structure, technique, and yes musicality too! The way he uses his special sounds it no longer sounds like tech or weird effects but it sounds melodic because of how he structures and places them and it’s incredible. Ice is so much more than a crazy new school beatboxer, he really has what it takes to be a champion

It's true that Ice did apologise to River for being disrespectful after their battle - and I can see why you'd say he was disrespectful here. But being disrespectful in battles is pretty common really. And you get these fairly weak arguments about about how various antics weren't actually disrespectful because it was a joke, or it was fine because they were cool afterwards, or "its a battle!" etc.
Ice absolutely out battled Androide
For my the second round for androide its better than of the ice
@@_feitan_ Mr. Androide's second round was the weakest round in GBB23 this year... no offense. Not saying it wasn't good beatboxing, but it's not a strong routine for a battle. Additionally, it's the exact same routine he did in his Round 1 wildcard.
@@Algorox It's ironic that you say he repeated routine, when ice used his wildcard for gbb too, and in elimination, which makes it more redundant, anyway, ices deserves totally this battle
@@_feitan_That's for his elimination. Ice did not reuse any of his wildcard routines in his battles. It's generally a better idea to bring more aggressive and original routines for your battles.

u can tell it slips and that he androide was already going to pick it back up the drop was not intentional, and they were happy after the battle so i think androide understood.

Beatbox judging is an interesting thing. On one hand it's understandable that the beat and rhythm are the core. On the other hand many beatboxers seem to focus heavily on that at the expense of melody. Ice was certainly cleaner and more consistent overall, but imo Androide was much more fun to listen to. "Musicality" seems a controversial topic in the scene and while I don't think singing is necessarily necessary because a lot of other sounds can be used to communicate a melody, I think a lot of beatboxers would certainly benefit from an openness to embrace the melodic side of their craft.
