England - Basingstoke - 4K Walking Tour 🌤️

Join me on my first walking tour in the town of Basingstoke located in the county Hampshire South East England. Filmed using my Osmo Pocket 3 in 4K. (sorry about the light flicking, I am still getting used to my Osmo Pocket)

Basingstoke is an old market town which expanded in the mid-1960s, as a result of an agreement between London County Council and Hampshire County Council. It was developed rapidly after the Second World War, along with various other towns in the United Kingdom. The Top of Town is the historic heart of Basingstoke, housing the Willis Museum in the former Town Hall building (rebuilt 1832) as well as several locally run shops and the market place. The major shopping area is Festival Place, which opened in October 2002. Festival Place gave a huge boost to the town centre, transforming and replacing what was the former The Walks Shopping Centre and the New Market Square.
