I think his comment was directed at those who think that celebrities are what makes the world go around. He's trying to say I'm a singer I'm a dancer but I'm not a police officer who suits up and puts their life on the line daily for people they don't even know, I'm not a firefighter I'll never run into a burning building to save a life, I'm not a nurse who takes care of an entire community at a hospital. He's basically saying what he does is minut in comparison to what majority of the common man does so don't put me up on a pedestal and worship me like a god.
He’s not wrong. His concert was so good. The man is being real and giving his fan base his truest self. I appreciate it. He wants people to believe in themselves, live their dreams, and not fall for the hype. I loved his message. I support this man❤
He's a grown man performing and singing about adult themes on a global stage. He's no longer constrained by the rules of management for young kpop groups. Its called growth, evolution, progress etc
Change for good ❤ That is what we want 🎉 He is transparent His haters come from a certain group of certainly aint good heart humans. It is normal. I am sure u have haters too. He is at the top now ❤❤❤
He’s a 29 year old grown man. I think it just seems like he is really expressing himself through an art form more truthfully now. Not to say that got7 limited him, but I think the kpop industry really put him into a box, and now he has stepped all the way out of it, and is showing us the realest version of himself nowadays. All the makeup and costumes and choreo is a concept to express his art. He really is still a very sweet, respectful, and humble guy. I really think that Jackson is a true artist, and something rare you don’t find everyday.
He could say so much about the k-pop industry and how artists are being manipulated, under appreciated by management, underpaid and often under fed, deprived of many things for different reasons than what music and artists are doing this.. yet he handles the topic with grace. He knows exactly why he is still doing it and he's doing it his way now he is not so much limited or manipulated anymore. It's a great thing and I don't think anyone should hate on it. If you don't like his current style that's okay, that doesn't mean he's changed for the wrong reasons or that he's no longer worthy of support. As long as we learn, we change. Jackson is learning, and that's a great thing.
I love that Jackson can do his thing now when it comes to music. He express himself freely compared to days in JYPE. As GOT7 said they want to explore more as individual members but they are still GOT7. Jackson know what he was doing and I think the change that most people are talking about is his antics on stages like drinking alcohol but i think that's part of the process. Like, as a musician myself sometimes I also drink some beer before the show. He is still the Jackson Wang we knew from the very first time, gentleman, respectful, smart, funny, and very down to earth.
Jackson wang is the real deal. he spoke the truth.. pls don't bash him. He also asked consent from the fans before dancing with them. He respects everyone and we love him. ❤
As someone who attended his concert during the magic man tour in Thailand , let me clarify this : he is an adult male who is literally just out on stage and having fun . That being said , he is VERY open about the problems he is facing with regards to feeling lonely and alone and how his job keeps him so much on the move that he can’t even have the time to fall in love. He isn’t an “alcoholic” like I saw so many people say . Just cause the whole dance crew and him have fun with drinks when the concert is ending , doesn’t mean that he’s suddenly having problems with alcohol. He’s just having fun on stage and trying to create a show that you as an audience will enjoy and remember . He is trying to teach you through his struggles and he really just wants everyone to move forward in their lives , have meaningful relationships and do well . I really hope he does meet someone incredibly amazing and falls in love cause he genuinely deserves that !
He's the most articulated man and he has very deep thoughts. Jackson has what many others (not only idols) lack off, that is empathy. Have you seen him taking care for random people? He will protect women, he knows how to handle them. There are so many good things about him. He's well earned the place where he's at!
Yeah agreed, he's truly a unicorn to be honest. If you see how this man pulls off anything he sets his mind to, academically, physically, mentally, he is so strong and soaks life up like a sponge. For all we know he isn't even drinking alcohol but straight water... It's a quick judgement call.
@@BetaTestaburger After all hes an Olympic sports person that's how his brain is wired It's not easy for a kid leave his family and country to train in Korea 😲 that's a tough life growing up. Well I didn't know about the alcohol story that you are telling, I only hopeis true.
@@wasabicriollo I dunno the way he drinks it he sometimes throws it in his face, if that was alcohol his eyes would burn way too much for him to casually carry on. You're bound to see the natural reaction of pain and worry!
Those who didn’t know him and those who are not real Ahgases and was not there from the very beginning would say he changed. He didn’t. That’s still the fun, goofy, respectful, kind, sweet, cute, lovable, hard working, loyal, friendly and our Mandu Jackson Wang. He just does his art and music and explores what he can do as an artist. He just got more mature and wants to be taken seriously that’s why he stopped going to variety shows. He wants to be seen as a singer/artist not as “the funny guy”. Although that’s 100% part of his personality he wants to be taken seriously. If there’s one thing that changed in his personality is that he got stronger because of all the hate and bad comments that he received that he learned to not show weakness in front of people. So stop saying he changed. He did not. But his music constantly evolves and he slays all the time. You people are just full of hate and envious that your favorite artists can’t do what he and got7 can. I hope you don’t get ill with all the hatred and negativity that comes from within you. Why waste energy in pointing out the faults and flaws of artists other than your favorites. when you can’t even change yourself. Why don’t you look in the mirror and reflect. It’s so easy to write ill comments about artists that gets ruined with scandals but does doing that make you a better person? I don’t think so. It’s easier to be compassionate, to encourage others and to spread happy vibes.
I'm sorry but with all due respect YOU as a fan will never ever ever ever fully know any celebrity. YOU only know what they ALLOW you to know. You think because you have followed his career since he debuted it somehow makes you besties and you know him, but you don't. Ted Bundy had a lot of friends and when he was charged with murder not one of his closest friends even had an inkling he was out there killing people and they were actually close with him on a daily basis and still they never really knew him. So, how the hell can you truly know an individual that you watch on TV and met maybe a handful of times for like 2 minutes at a few concerts? That's so asinine that it's truly comical.
This man can sing, dance, entertain and he is always a gentleman. But the thing I like most about him is that he tries to keep it real. At least looking in from the outside, the KPop industry is brutal. Trainees and groups go through so much to make it and have to keep that “Perfect” image to maintain their jobs and their fandoms. They are humans just like the rest of us. The pressure is not primarily from the media, but from the fans too directly or indirectly. Whether or not we want to believe it. I believe that the media follows the fandoms, not the other way around….they go after whatever story will make more people watch or buy from their outlet. Disclaimer-I am ARMY too. I want nothing more for the people I follow and whose music I enjoy than for them to enjoy what they do so that they will continue do do so. Do I have BTS on a pedestal, sure, do I want them to be perfect- heck no. I love to see the more human side of them. How many of us have had to go one year, 4 years, or 10 years without screwing up? I can’t imagine having to live under a microscope like Jackson, BTS and other idols do. We have lost too many incredible entertainers all around the world because of the pressures they feel to be “exactly what the audience wants.” And frankly, I think it’s the fans that can help take the pressure off….Like who you like and support that person/group the best that you can. Don’t waste your energy hating on another group/idol or their fandom. Let your person know that you are there for them (without harassment.)
I have nothing but adoration for a Jackson Wang. Jackson is an entertainer, so anything outrages and freaky that he does on stage don't take it serious. Everything that he does is for Fandom and Media Entertainment. He is still the same beautiful, handsome, kind, exciting, fun loving Jackson that we've always known. It's only Show Bizz people. You can't help but love him too bits. 🤗🤗🤗🥰
It’s not only a change but it’s also the theme of the album. I just went to see Jackson a week ago and he changed his look/outfit throughout the concert. He’s been through tough times, he made a short documentary that was displayed on screen which really made me understand the purpose of his album. I respect Jackson greatly and I hope he truly is feeling well. He loves his fans and truly struck us with inspiring words that day 💜💜
I agree with what Jackson says about how fans treat celebrities. He speaks facts! And I like that he is being himself. It takes a certain strength to be open and honest about yourself, on stage, for all the world to see that.
he is an adult plus he didn't harm anybody he is a true artist and true to his fans he did nothing this should not even be a discussion and yes just like he said they dance they sing they entertain people, people should not try to get involved in their personal affairs or anything personal it's their choice they are not presenting their personal life but their performances their music that's what they are selling
Jackson is so amazing and charismatic. I appreciate so much his personality... Namjoon and Jackson are both great Artists. 🤗🤗 I hope, one day, a collaboration😉😉
Their are many who pretend to nice to others for cameras! But the no. Of kind gestures he made and also the the tiny details he notices and his act of caring is out of his instincts and not for cameras! When he was asked that do you feel happy when people praise you for your kind gestures he said it's a common sense and completely common and instinctive reaction there's nothing to praise in it or something to be appreciated! I was touched!😊
I love that guy because he is being so real, artist are normal human that are singing and dancing thats their job they are not some kind of god ,they entertain and mostly he will receive hate from kpop fan or like in this video say that he is making innapropriate move but its not innapropriate he is just doing what most would do if they could ,being himself
To me he is still the polite and humble Jackson. He is also brave and honest about the truth. Now he is braver to dance as mature because indeed he is already an mature, don't rate of him as a teenager continues. he is already 29 years old. He also knows what to do. Not all places he dances freely. He is very intelligent, creative, has a sharp art and is different from the others. All of his messages always carry positive values and encouragement to always be confident and be yourself. He's so cool.
Just leave him alone. You dont even know what you talking about. If you dont like him you can always have a option to skip without spreading false stuff.
Yes he is really" change,i'm not got7 fans but i almost following him in any tv show when he still active in korea, because back then this guy is really" funny especially in 2015-2018,and im enjoyed watching him after working all day,but now since he left jyp his image is really" change, maybe because he want to go inter, many artist nowdays especially asian artist really change their image to western culture, and forgot about who really they are, where they come from, their real culture etc, well in the end it's the artist decision, but sometimes i really miss the old funny jackson got7

He never changed for me. He's still the same. He's always have a good heart and he value his fans so much. Want him to find his real happiness. And I always respect this man. People who followed him since the beginning knew this. 💚
I'm going to say this and I hope I don't make anyone upset. Jackson has came on several platforms stating that he was lonely and going through depression. The clown makeup that he wears is a mask trying to hide his sadness. I am very worried about him because I have seen it firsthand that people that went through this kind of depression and the harm that they have done to themselves. I myself have been through depression. Its very hard but I have gotten through it and learn to become happier with myself to slowly ease my depression. I hope I don't be the one to say this cuz I don't like to give negative opinions on anything. Someone needs to get Jackson Wang some help before we find another video on tik Tok, TH-cam or wherever saying that another K-pop idol has passed. You never know what a person is going through unless you're in their shoes. Jackson Wang is reaching out for help and I don't think no one is helping him. 😢😢😢😢
I have the same feeling too. I think the more caring and sincere and honest he shows towards his career or his life or this world, it’s a message saying “I’m so done with these shits, I’m tired and I don’t wanna be a part of any of it anymore .” I really hope he can be happy about his life truly, he’s a fantastic artist.
Not sure what this creator is trying to achieve here...🙄 Are y hating or not? And he just stated facts nothing else. The makeup? Well he's artistic and clearly it's his theme for his current tour ...I don't see why there's such a surprise , and yes they drink on stage because they are freaking men not teenagers anymore let them be ...Jesus! Give these people a break for once. Then they act all surprised why the number of idols who commit suicide keeps raising at a ridiculous fast pace. Well it starts with this type of criticism until it tumbles into a huge deal that eventually overwhelms these idols. All I'm saying is let them breath and let them make their own mistakes if it happens, let them be humans for God sake. Jackson has a good head on his shoulders and real fans will trust his judgement at least I do.
love you Jackson for being who you are. The Jackson I saw and see is a loving son and gentleman. God loves you. Always remember many love you and you have your many friends BTS. I purple you.
i’m so proud of him to be honest!! he is trying so hard to show that Kpoo idols can do whatever they want!! he is trying to teach that Kpop idols are Not a Dolls that you can manage as you want, they are HUMANS they can make a mistake, they have feelings, they can get drunk or Smoke if they want is their lives!!! I don’t understand why fans thinks that they own the idols when is not like that… JACKSON IM ALWAYS WITH YOU THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!!!
It’s stupid how y’all hating Jackson like he never changed! Just cause your a fan doesn’t mean you know them personality!!! He’s stating facts, he wants to be treated as a human being.
Two completely different things. If you’re talking about Suchwita - where he drinks with different label mates. Suga has always admitted he likes whiskey. (A lot of my friends do) but the % of alcohol in some brands is so high, you can get extremely drunk, extremely quickly. Especially if you have a fairly low tolerance or don’t drink a lot. At least with Suchwita there is substance to it. It’s like friends sitting at a table discussing their lives , music, their interests. With this video it’s a rant by someone who.. freely admits “we sing we dance , that’s IT” and then diverts off on another drunken rant that had correlation to what he was previously ranting about.
@@Chameleon_Halo lol, suga has been drinking on stage too in this US tour, and I don't mind one bit. I love him, suga smoking in his video and drinking on stage is saying the same thing as Jackson. He is breaking the hype of not treating them like grown men but like dolls. And I love suga for that, swearing doesn't make him a bad person neither is drinking. And that's what Jackson is saying. And before you say someone who is saying how they feel is ranting, try understanding his pains and where he is coming from. That's basically what BTS taught us. we all should stop putting idols in a pedestal, they have to be good for us, not have a girlfriend's, not smile freely with other artists, not follow other celebrities on IG. Have to have a perfect non flawed human. And smile and entertain even when they are down. Do you know how that affects their mental health? Jackson is right, they sing and dance, entertain and do music. which is basically what should be it. But in kpop fandom wants more.
@@BTS-Sommy no I never said it makes either of them a bad person. What I’m saying is that his further rants on stage - about China. And how the media is lying - are completely incorrect. It’s a fact. There are multiple documentations of human rights abuses. He’s saying he sings , he dances , that’s IT. But then says - everything “the media” says about China is incorrect and it’s a “dope place” so if all he does (by his own admission - is sing and dance) why is he contradicting himself ? I don’t put idols or anyone on a pedestal. Thankfully. But I’ve also worked in the entertainment industry , for nearly 20 years now. Underneath all the hype, the bravado and the shady personalities - everyone is the same - skin and bones. No body is perfect. Not one single lesson. I’m well , WELL aware of how it effects their mental health , because living in SK , and working in the same industry , it’s not just the idols that you see committing su*icide - there are even more people behind them , and their “team” as well. My husband and I , have been to more funerals living here , and working in the same industry together - than we did in all our time in Europe and Australia combined.
He’s been open that he went through a depressive period of time after GOT7 left JYP & he was trying to figure out his next move. He mentioned that he went through basically an identity crisis & has slowly found himself in his own terms and is still finding himself. He really hasnt changed that much. I think he’s just more honest of what he puts out there. He is an adult man that lives an unorthodox life after all
Humility at its finest. Saying he’s just an entertainer in service to make people smile and enjoy. So people should stop unnecessarily hyping up celebrities too much. What’s there to hate???
It actually surprises me a lot how kpop fans hype up concepts and lores and when it comes to Jackson it's suddenly inappropriate? He's a grown man who is about to enter his 30s, has a solo career, OUT of kpop. If y'all don't know, the concept of his album is 'magic'/fantasy/a mythical creature engulfed by magic which is being perceived as 'negative' and dare I ask why? 90% of his concert attendees have stated on multiple occasions that he hardly drinks a full gulp on stage and most of the alcohol is passed around to his dance crew which has 20 ish members! He has NOT changed, he just no longer fits the perception of a kpop idol some of you all have in mind! He actually said nothing but the truth about liking artists in general. Idk what makes it so harmful
Bro I’ll always love Jackson wang one of the most humble and most polite dudes I’ve seen on any platform. We should always give love to this man and let him know that he is loved by his fans.
So may argue and say- they save lives. Some artists truly are an escape for those suffering. That's NOT a small thing. Artists also INSPIRE people to follow in their footsteps or appreciate beauty of their creativity. Jackson is the type of guy that wants to talk about EVERYTHING he needs positive energy that doesn't bs him. He needs sincere and honest - good people around him.
It’s as if magic man isn’t an entire concept. It’s as if someone can’t be an artist after being an idol. Imagine making your reel, tiktoks etc when you aren’t even a fan with context.
He has also stated that who he is on stage during this tour is a character. Just like other people who have themes and alter ego or whatever. Ppl need to let him live 😂
Jackson was always very outgoing and didn't give a f*ck what others said about him. Just let him do his thing and if you don't like it don't watch it 😊
He is literally the ambassador for Hennessy. That’s what’s with the alcohol. He pours half of it on himself anyway and drinks it with literally his entire band on stage. People need to stop with the alcoholic storyline. As for everything else, people just aren’t prepared for how real Jackson is. And they love to take small clips and take what he says out of context. I’ve been a fan for over 6 years and it’s literally always been like this and I’m sick of it.
i went to his concert and istg when i say it was one of the best. his artistry is amazing and the way he's expressing it through magicman is truly inspiring
I hope he take a professional help for his drinking habit( more like addiction) the amount he's drinking is really concerning. I really hope he will heal himself from whatever he is going through. Just don't want to lose another gem.
@siri_igot7 everyone has their own problems and trauma just because he is brand ambassador that doesn't mean he have to be drunk 24/7 . He already told in a show that he is feeling very lonely and might take time to come out from the phase he is going through which he might did as recently he looked very healthy where he is judge in a reality show and about cigars just because they are idols that doesn't mean they do everything for promotion or just don't do any bad habits they are common people like us even jackson smokes iam not pointing it out and saying he should get a treatment to it am I so please stop pointing fingers and understand 1st what you read
If you'e a fan of artists with a basic and prefabricated image and music you will not understand the concept of Magic Man, Jackson Wang likes to experiment with his craft, he doesn't do things so that we like him or love him, he makes music to experiment and express his feelings and emotions; He makes pure art and art is not for everyone.
I think this is who he really. Back when he’s a K-pop idol, he had to fit into that ‘the boy next door’ trend, aesthetic, whatever you call it. Perhaps this somehow forced him to deviate from his own self and pretend to be someone he’s not. And now that he has gone solo, he could finally be his own self.

I can understand this a lot of music artists have gone through this they change from how the media wants them to be for more popularity. This is why I adore Jackson he knows and he just wants to be treated as equally. And for himself. Not just career. You tend to loose yourself for a while when you can’t be yourself.
He’s a grown man. The makeup and everything else is a concept.

@@BetaTestaburger yes exactly!
Totally agree
Jackson wang is the real deal. he spoke the truth.. pls don't bash him. He also asked consent from the fans before dancing with them. He respects everyone and we love him. ❤
He’s an amazing person. Humble and respectful
I really like Jackson as an artist and as a person. He is crystal clear, no acting, no lying..he is his true self
Preach sis 🙏🏾🙏🏾 you spoken facts!
I love Jackson. He’s so honest ❤
He spoke the truth ❤❤❤
You don't just entertain, you inspire, your change lives. You light up that hidden light of passion inside our hearts.
I love jackson he is so honest and humble ❤❤❤
As long as he's happy and he's making music that he wants❤❤
It’s not only a change but it’s also the theme of the album. I just went to see Jackson a week ago and he changed his look/outfit throughout the concert. He’s been through tough times, he made a short documentary that was displayed on screen which really made me understand the purpose of his album.
I respect Jackson greatly and I hope he truly is feeling well. He loves his fans and truly struck us with inspiring words that day 💜💜
Well dressing up like Jauquin Phoenix's version of the joker isn't the worst thing he could do on a scale of 1 to 100😂😂😂😂
He is right. And now that he doesn't have to answer to an agency, he can do this. He is speaking for plenty of artistes who just love their jobs.
I will forever love Jackson. Hes a real one

I love Jackson so much now. Over the past couple of years he has become so amazing shedding that kpop cage
He seems exhausted and overwhelmed...

Ofc he changed. If you stay the same after so many years you have a problem. EVERYONE changes. This is life.
His makeup is the concept.... he is so humble...
I don't know that much about him but iv seen him be very kind in so many ways,

i’m so proud of him to be honest!! he is trying so hard to show that Kpoo idols can do whatever they want!! he is trying to teach that Kpop idols are Not a Dolls that you can manage as you want, they are HUMANS they can make a mistake, they have feelings, they can get drunk or Smoke if they want is their lives!!!
I wonder why "Forever BTS" hasn't made a post about Suga basically doing the Exact Same Thing????!!
I will make soon
@@forever_with_bts_tae what Yoongi doing?
He is an adult man that lives an unorthodox life after all
He didn't change lmao 😀👌🏻 he grew like all human on earth
Can we stop with taking tiny parts of whole speeches out of context as well.
He has also stated that who he is on stage during this tour is a character. Just like other people who have themes and alter ego or whatever. Ppl need to let him live 😂
Jackson is a wonderful megastar 👍🏼👏
Jackson was always very outgoing and didn't give a f*ck what others said about him. Just let him do his thing and if you don't like it don't watch it 😊
Whatever he does, I'll always love him because he's such a talented and rare artist with beautiful thoughts ... period 😊
I love him so much, he is a perfect man. The turth of perfect is imperfect. He is such a wonderful person with talents.
Almost like he’s not being censored by him company and that he’s able to take full artistic control over his music and his image
Won’t happen anytime soon , now Budweiser is his sponsor too.
Bro are you serious 😂😂😂 he is promoting Hennessy which he is brand ambassador of I think bts should take consulting for their smoking 🚬habits
Everyone deserves a change and I fully support Jackson’s change but I will never forget our old Jackson!🫶🏻
He's perfect 😊😊😊😊😊

He changed cause he is aging and experiencing life. We all do. What I am sure of is that he is still a good person and getting more popular.
I hope he’s doing the music he enjoys doing. I personally am not a big fan all of what he’s doing now but I respect him and hope the best for him.
Another Toxic Army talking about something they know nothing about.
Just because at the last second you complimented him on being a gentleman, does not take away from fact the rest of this video is nonsense. Concern yourself with BTS and leave the rest of the industry alone.
He changed because of the criticism he was getting from teens. I’m 17 myself and I love the old and new Jackson. He’s right. He’s just a normal human here to entertain people. It’s pretty simple. He’s great, his musics great… he’s an all-arounder. He changed a lot at he left Got7 as well. Just let him be what he wants. He’s a 30 year old adult. I love how nice he is to fans as well. I would kill to meet him. Luv you, Jackson Wang. 🙏♥️

He's actually right. Nowadays fans act like the idols are *Gods* or some divine figures. U can't call yourself a fan if u don't post abt them 24/7 or make votings etc. You're a fake fan if u don't know much abt them. Like bruh. Isn’t it just u liking someone and enjoying their stuffs? Why do we need to know every details abt them? I have much more to worry abt in my life than fussing over someone who don't even know me , honestly.

Ele tem a personalidade completa de um ídolo, de um homem que sabe o que quer e faz da forma correta tudo, veio, fez história e ficou na história da música mundial, sem dúvida um SUPER ESTRELA.❤❤❤❤❤
if you notice bts army are so different because armyies are so genuine too they love so much bts ot7 so much they support all of them thats why people what you saw bts members is simple as you know
The pressure of the industry broke him and he put himself back together in the best and truest way possible. If you don't like it don't listen to it. Jackson is also one of the most beautiful people in the world ❤
How can people not like him? He is so genuine and speaks his mind, maybe not everyone is used to that with all their thoughts and they only speak their mind and do not listen to others. Jackson is so genuine and kind-hearted, he speaks out and calls out the industry for what it Is.
girl r u fr 💀 he’s one of the most talented artists out there and super respectful and real with people, what he said was right in this video they’re not that different from us its just their job
Ahh, you do more than sing, dance! & entertain. You must not know why and how much we love you. Try to soak our admiration in, sending nothing but positive vibes. 😊
I can understand this a lot of music artists have gone through this they change from how the media wants them to be for more popularity. This is why I adore Jackson he knows and he just wants to be treated as equally. And for himself. Not just career. You tend to loose yourself for a while when you can’t be yourself. I mean Taylor swift said herself she’s had to change herself so many times for the media and changed her music genre. To fit with a crowd that’s she’s in now. She’s earned so much respect over the years I hope she can do what she loves!
As well for every music artist ❤❤
