Yes it does charge with the pencil case on. But you have to put it in the right side and your ipad shouldn’t have a case where the pencil connects (smart folio still works for example).
You have to put it in the right place and your iPad can’t have a case itself. It does work and charge the pencil with the case on. There’s one side thinner on this case just to let the pencil charge correctly. Put it right and it’ll work. If your ipad has a case on already, no apple pencil case will allow it to charge anyway.
