Love it! This is such a great tour. Rt 1 is one of our favorites! The fort looked cool! HOLY HELL! You HAD-DOCKED ME AT CHOWDER! But the mussels looked great too! Thanks for sharing!
Yet again you've found some beautiful and fascinating coastal towns and all the beauty that surrounds it! It must be so tranquil being able to breath in the sea air, and of course sample all the delicious harvest from the ocean itself!
Thank you for this nice tour of this beautiful place, I learned a lot of things about Belfast through your video and it makes me really want to visit it at the first opportunity that arises !
The Rockland Breakwater was completed in Oct 1901. In completion, it took 768,774 tons of stone to build which if you break it down even further is over 1.5 billion lbs of stone. When it was approved it cost $880,093 which today would cost roughly 31 million dollars. Growing up there I have done some swimming and mackerel fishing off that breakwater. It is definitely worth the walk
Thanks for the wonderful tour! You're always so thorough. The food looked amazing and I'd definitely try the chowder. Seems like there is a lot to do in the area.
what a cool lighthouse and a cool way to get to it - albeit a long one! thanks for showing us more of Maine... oh cool fort too. pity it wasnt filled with gold
Haha, you've got vibes bro. One of the most lively characters I've come across on the growing TH-camr train. Keep it flowin'. I'm sure you'll do just great. I'll keep an eye on your expeditions 🤙🏻✨☄️
I’ve had salmon n clam chowder before but never Haddock chowder .. Does it have a distinctive taste to it?? And I am such a mussels fan n they prepared it with Garlic yum!!!
When u visit Alaska you’ll get Salmon everything!! Salmon chowder .. Even Salmon ice cream !!! I think I will like Haddock just from your review of it being less fatty flavored fish ..

Most definitely, if Maine wasn't so damn cold and miserable during the winter I'd have moved there year round years ago.
Maine is so cool. Was able to travel there as a kid. I continue to be amazed in how you find all of the hidden food gems.
That is my specialty, finding hidden gems. As Gandalf once said, "always follow your nose."
Gorgeous and scenic little places. Shots are so touching and well composed my friend. Bridge is breathtaking as weas views around bridge. 👌👌
You always find something new to do up here in Maine
Maine really looks like a nice place to visit. Those lil' places have its charm.

It was delicious, honestly Maine has some of the best ice cream I've ever had.
The bridge looked great and so is the Lincolnville beach. The oyster looked yummy.
Maine Oysters are some of the best in the World
This is quintessential Maine! ❤️
Absolutely, only missed that Lobster Roll. However, I've got 3 videos that feature Lobster Rolls in Maine so I suppose it can be forgiven lol.

It's a lovely town, although I'd say Camden has a bit more elegance to it.
Such a beautiful area
It's why I went back every year for 6 years.

Now that would've been something
Rewatching here my friend! Still stunned at the amount of British names in these places!
Well it's the area of the US that was most heavily influenced by British rule.
came back for another watch!
Always appreciate you Andy brother
Amazing video
I appreciate that
Great tour! Looks like there is a lot to see--and eat! :)
So much, Maine is such an underrated state but, there is so much beauty to see.

This area looks pretty, but oysters gross me out. Thanks for showing us all of these little towns!
Lol you are not the first to tell me that about oysters.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon When it comes to eating oysters, it is better you than me buddy!
@@marybethsmidwestadventures 🤣🤣🤣 I accept that sacrifice on your behalf

Great video👍32
Thanks

I don't think I've ever had chowder with salmon. That sounds amazing. Haddock is a bit of a lighter fish than salmon. Less fatty flavor.
When u visit Alaska you’ll get Salmon everything!! Salmon chowder .. Even Salmon ice cream !!! I think I will like Haddock just from your review of it being less fatty flavored fish ..
It is not "THE" one. It is Route 1 the first road in the US.
Shuck station is the best
Agreed
Please learn how to correctly pronounce the names of the towns you visit. Just ask someone in the town.
I'll do that
