Love this game, have been playing through the Punic War Battles Solo, (using Stukka Joe's system) I play each 3 times. Plans came come together in a mighty flanking move or fall apart before your eyes. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

They only major change I see from the 6th Printing is that the dice are now much nicer. The ones you have are the same type used in Medieval and Samurai Battles. In the 6th Printing (and I presume earlier ones), you had some rather large blank dice that you needed to sticker.

I got my friend's copy plus his still in shrink expansions 2,3 and 4. So much game in these boxes.
Easy to play while still retaining the proper feel of the era. Excellent design that doesn't get bogged in minutia. Plus so good looking on the table!

I have several versions of this game. The one I like the best is Samurai. The fewer the figures you have, the fewer dice you roll. I never did like the mechanic that one figure rolled as many as four figures, for the other variants.
