I'm happy to have found your channel! Great video, good explanation and reason as to how and where it all started. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.

I saw a Moog sub 37 in your thumb and thought you were going to create a Reese on that one.

The Reece bass you use on the drum and bass section is very similar to the one i used on my track Requiem For Deidre, its a great sound

Amazing content again! best in the TH-cam. Dilby, I have one question, why not use glue compression instead limiter? Because the do can do the same effect right?

Man the coherence of your sentencing and workflow always forward is pretty impressive.
You speak the same way as you work. Solid skills. Nice
In the last example i loved it until you added the distortion. Full band distortion,,, i rarely choose it. I rather use a band selective processing, multiband saturator in order to add ear candy distortion mainly above the low-mid Bass content where its not hurting the low end.
Very cool tutorial. Tomorrow i will try to replicate what you have demonstrated so i can learn something new by rebuilding something cool

Another great tutorial. Thanks Dilby. Question: where did you learn sound design? I mean, obviously things get better with practice, but did you do any courses? My ability is limited and I need to get better.

A lot of just picking things up along the way. But I bought Syntorial at one point. It's a hands on synth course. I didn't get that far through as it got quite hard and thus quite time consuming, but it gave me a solid foundation. Hoten recommended it to me. He did the whole thing and says he can hear almost any sound and know how to make it now

I’ve just picked up a microfreak, my first hardware synth. It’s great reverse engineering the presets to get an understanding of how certain sounds are made.

I've seen syntorial. This is a nice reason to get it done. Thanks!

@@defectiveresistor microfreaks look so fun! I would love one of those and a minilogue at some point.
