Beef Kulma caught my attention, since they cooked their dish the same day we cooked ours, when I tasted their dish, it resembles to kare-kare which is my favorite and has a spicy flavor and the curry flavor which stands out in the dish. I also agree that it is also similar to Bicol Express becuse of the chili and coconut cream.
All in all, I can say that their hardwork paid off, from the aroma to taste, they are delightful. This dish showcase that the BARMM is not only rich in culture but also in unique cuisines that will satisfy your needs.

I like that they marinated the beef before cooking it because it helps enhance the flavor and tenderize the meat. Indeed, Filipinos love associating any dish with coconut, especially coconut cream. I think that adding coconut cream is what mainly makes Beef Kulma different from Kare-kare.

Beef Kulma, this is a dish to try for, as a beef lover... it is important to note that a beef meat is need to be tenderize either before or through cooking, a beef dish with hard beef meat is a dish that most people won't enjoy, regarding with this video, it is a great thing that our chefs tenderize the meat first before cooking it, with their procedure to simmer more, it makes the meat more tender and that is big thumbs up for the chefs. Having Beef in a Curry makes my tastebuds curious, as far as I know there are only few curry dishes here in the Philippines that's actually originate or got influence here and makes it their identity in certain parts of the country, that is why to taste a Beef Kulma is a task I have to accomplish when I go to Tausug in Mindanao.

"WOW! ANG SARAP NAMAN! Tamang-tama sa malamig na panahon sa Lucban,Kaya lang baka ma-anggo. HAHA.". This is my impression when I finally saw the cooked Beef Kulma.
It is like a beef soap with a creamy taste of coconut cream and coconut milk. The presentation adds a great touch to make it more appetizing. From using peanuts and the abundance of spices like paprika and curry powder, I could say that this could taste like Indian cuisine.

Because the Beef Kulma is unfamiliar to me, it piqued my interest. This meal, which is a delicacy of Mindanao, can be defined as a combination of beef curry and the Kare-Kare stew, a Filipino stew made with peanuts. As we can see from the video, the chefs are committed to their work and it takes time to produce this cuisine. And I can't wait to try it. Well done chefs!

This dish takes a lot of time to prepare but based on the comments this is very worth it. I noticed that it is similar to kare-kare that we know but have a difference, because they use ingredients that kare kare consists of. If I am given a chance to try it, i will definitely try it, to also know the difference between kare kare and this dish.

Beef Kulma stood out to me among the other dishes in our section for two reasons. First, it resembles kare-kare, one of my favorite foods, and second, I enjoy dishes that contain coconut cream. As one of the evaluators of this dish, I can say that it is absolutely delightful for me because the meat is so tender and the flavor itself complements the texture of the beef. Additionally, I find the aroma of this dish to be incredibly enticing. Chefs, you did well!

The Beef Kulma is new in my aurally and with this it provoked my interest. I can say that this dish is one of the delicacies that BARMM is proud of, due to the fact that it originates from the Tausug people which are a Muslim ethnic group in Mindanao. As we notice, it takes time to prepare this dish where the chefs in the video are dedicated to what they are doing. And being one of the people who watch this I can't wait to taste it.

After watching this cooking video, I witnessed the long preparation involved in making these beef kulma, from boiling the beef to making it like a curry and Kare-Kare. And I observed that these Beef Kulma bears resemblance to curry and Kare-Kare because of the ingredients that are used in this dish, such as the peanut butter that is one of the main ingredients in Kare-Kare, the coconut milk, and the curry powder that is always used in curry. And I look forward to tasting it when I go back to Mindanao.

Beef Kulma is a traditional Filipino dish influenced by Indian cuisine. It's a flavorful beef stew cooked with spices like curry, turmeric, and coconut milk. The dish often includes potatoes, carrots, and sometimes bell peppers. The result is a delicious, aromatic stew with a hint of sweetness from the coconut milk. Its origins trace back to the Muslim communities in the Philippines, particularly in Mindanao, where it's commonly enjoyed. Upon watching this I really want to try it because i love the food that is made of beef.

Among all the dishes that my classmates made, this one really caught my taste buds. They say that it is like a kare-kare; actually, I don’t eat kare-kare, and I don’t know what it tastes like, but I know what it looks like. I can say that the color of soup is similar.
When I taste this, I surely fall in love with it, and I immediately search for rice because it really fits well. The meat was tender, but I suggest that it would be much better if they put more chillies because I love spicy food. But all in all, they did a great job as first-timers making this dish.

Upon watching the video, this dish called Beef Kulma requires a lot of ingredients and long preparation as you need to make sure that the beef will be soft and tender. It resembles Kare Kare because of some ingredients used but added with coconut milk. Sir Darwin as an evaluator from the faculty said it taste like Bicol Express so it made me more curious on what does it really taste like. Looking forward to try it to fed my curiosity.

After watching the vlog, based on the evaluations, the dish is delightful, the meat is tender, and it has an incredible aroma, which I think came from the lemon grass and bay leaves. It is somehow similar to kare kare because of the peanut, but what makes it different is that it has coconut cream, coconut milk, and tomato paste. The dish looks delicious and creamy, and I really want to taste it! It is best for lunch and dinner.

This dish is like curry because of the coconut milk and its appearance. It's easy to cook but it requires lots of ingredients. During the evaluation, the people liked how tender the beef was, and it is a great compliment in a beef dish because a tenderized meat helps absorb the flavors and marinades. After watching, I want to try it because of the compliments and the experience they shared while tasting it.

I'm curios on what does it taste since there are comments from their evaluation that it taste like Thai food, and others say that it taste like Bicol express. This dish is similar to our dish here in Katagalugan called kare-kare because of the peanut butter that this dish has. Beef kulma is one of the dish that are popular in Barmm. This dish consists a lot of ingredients and a long process of cooking. After boiling the beef meat, based on the video, they marinate the meat first to make the meat more tender and flavorful. To be honest, this dish caught my attention, that's why I wanted to know what are the difference between kare-kare of tagalog and beef kulma of Barmm.

When I heard the name “beef kulma”, it felt new since the name of the dish is kind of unique. However, when I watched the video of how it was made, I realized that it was like the usual curry that is famous all over the country because of its flavorful taste. Despite the fact that it looks very similar to the usual curry, I think this will have more aromatic smell and taste since they used cinammon powder which has a strong scent. Based on my preference, I don’t like the taste of cinammon powder in a dish since the smell is too overpowering for me. Overall, I still want to try this dish since I’m a fan of curry, I might not like some of its ingredients but I think it will have well-blended taste once it is ready to eat.

Same with the evaluator mentioned, this dish goes very well with rice. I've never tried this dish, so I don't have any idea about its flavor, but since I've tried kare-kare, maybe it tastes similar. Beef kulma caught my attention as it seems like a delightful combination of two Filipino favorites: Kare-Kare with its peanuts and a coconut-based beef dish. After watching how it's prepared in the video, I'm eager to give it a try. The blend of spiciness and creaminess, along with the tenderness of the beef, showcased in the cooking process makes this dish even more appetizing. It appears to be a must-try based on the flavors and unique preparation method. If you enjoy the peanut goodness of Kare-Kare but want to experience it in a new and exciting way, beef kulma is definitely worth tasting in Filipino cuisine.
