OMG my childhood in 20 mins -- thank you for this speedrun! I'm in awe at how you managed to complete all levels in less than a minute each, but at the same time I noticed how you did it as well! Somehow, I adore the fact that you always miss the crucial 3rd hit, especially so whenever you have the blue pan 🤣 I remember completing all of the levels, but the mechani-cat was, and still is, creepy as heck *shudders*. Thanks again for this video, and now I wanna watch a playthrough of this game with all the traps activated, heehee!
I remember just giving up when I got to the robo cat level. It just moved so fast I didn't know what to do. It's a shame that I didn't know I was that close to the end.
I played it a way ago enough to try this :) the most fun is probably not in the run, but since not too many people actually running it - i decided to try for myself how it would be. If someone will actually beat it - i'll definitely return since it's very fast to run. P. S.: nice to see someone who love Spyro as well here :)

@@Trixy09 It's not that hard to predict :) he is slow mostly Legend story is still good, even with lacking good mechanics. I know about speedruns but sticked with SRT cause it's quite something freshing in Spyro franchise.
Since you say it's possible you can return if someone beats your run, how much time you estimate that this game can be saved overall in the case of a faster run? And... What emulator do you use and if it's ePSXe, what is your current setup? I love this game and maybe... Who knows, I would give it a shot at running it
The whole game is full of rng, so it's quite hard to predict the timesave. I got last year 17:xx out of complete random and to celebrate 500 followers on twitch. As long as Tom is getting the way you need - it's more to your advantage. I think last time i used mednafen, but it's been a while.. i don't remember setup, but i don't think it was far from regular one (+ 4:3 ratio) It's actually fun game to do for a little bit, but rng is where it's quite tough to save time on. Feel free to try if you want. P.S.: i know it's been 2 years but i don't mind, it's better late respond than never.

Its funny how loading screens take more time than the actual playing time

The Pan is such a busted weapon; it hits harder than dynamite and is on par with the ironing board/freezer.
Or you can also abuse a trap in washing room, which along with Pan granted me 17:37 a while ago
