Another fabulous technique! The card is beautiful! Here's a tip I use: I rarely use a full mat layer! I cut out from the centre because it's only going to get covered anyway. Specialty paper/cs is expensive, and I like to stretch it as far as possible 😊 Of course, if it is a delicate top layer, then I keep the mat intact. (I'm fairly new to your channel, so if you already do this, I do apologise.)
First time poster here! Thanks for the tip of the eraser going over your clear stamp. I had the hardest time with one of my clear stamps and I’m so trying this!!!! Thank you! You’ve got a new follower!
I just stumbled upon your videos and I just love how your explain things and all your techniques. I plan on watching more of your videos and of course I subscribed to get them all. Thank you.
Turned out very pretty. Tutorial was great. Hope you’re doing well. In my part of Florida is RAIN. Streets are still flooded but I’ll take it over a hurricane any day.
You are so creative!! Did you know the Pink and Main store is located in Palmetto, FL, and My Favorites Things (MFT) is in Eustis, FL? Just sharing some info.
Thank you! Yes MFT is about 30 minutes from me. I’ve never been there though. My work hours ugh. I would love to go to a Pink and Main, too! It’s about 2 hours south. Maybe someday!
A question Wendy ladies in USA where do you buy your supplies? My daughter does a trip over once a year. She's a stitcher but would look for me, if I ģave her some best places for bargains. Distressing inks? Nuvo drops. Barely arts precision glue? Please help if you can. I absolutely love this card. ❤
Hello!!! I must admit to NOT shopping locally for much because the stock simply is no longer available. It's really sad that everything has been replaced by Cricut (etc) supplies. I buy 95% of my supplies online through Scrapbook.com. You can buy Distress Oxides through Michaels and sometimes they are on sale. Joanne Fabrics occasionally will actually have product on the shelves and they "stock" Tim Holtz products. I've never seen Nuvo drops in my local area nor have I seen Bearly Arts glue. I have to order them. Where will your daughter visit when she is here? Send me an email at villagecardandcrafts@gmail.com and let me know. That way I don't miss your message. I"ll see if there is anything local to where she visits for you.
Afternoon,, Wendy - And thanks for another swell video!! I must be using the wrong 'ink brushes' that 'I' got from Amazon -- Mine don't seem to transfer the distress oxides to my embossing folders as well as your brushes apply it!! Oh, well!! (sigh!) I was looking for some advice: I need to make my (juvenile) sheep stamp look 'furry' or 'wooly' - Any suggestions?! Many thanks!!
@@villagecardandcrafts Oh, okay!! I do remember receiving some white flocking to be used like foil - so I will try that!! Many thanks for such a speedy reply!!

Thank you! Yes, I typically cut the centers out of the matting layer. Truthfully, I was rushing to get the video done. 😊

Thank you for watching! As far as the sheep…have your tried texture pastes, some type of flocking, pulled apart cotton, or a “snowy” effect paste?

Do you have a store in Lasy Lake ,Florida? We winter in Ocala and I'd love to come visit.
