Ukrainian refugees confront Russian tourists in Turkey | DW News

  • The war in Ukraine has forced nearby Turkey to play a delicate balancing act. That means supporting Kyiv with drones, but at the same time refraining from sanctions against Russia. The conflict has also raised tensions in Istanbul, a welcoming oasis for both Ukrainian refugees AND Russian tourists.

    Turkey has separated the hotels of the Russians and Ukrainians.
    The main issue here is the constant confrontation between Russians and Ukrainians, who have been living in the same towns in Turkey for many years.
    For example, if you go to Alanya, you will think that you are in a small Soviet Union.
    They bought houses close to each other because they spoke the same language.
    There are too many Russians and Ukrainians living in Turkey and it is impossible not to see each other.

Where each year not 1000 kids will be dead but 50, 000 and it is biggest humanitarian crises in the world and we still buy fuel actually in bigger numbers from Saudis who are bombing population. What about Afgan kids who are sold to marriage at 6 at a rate 400% higher than before because of sanctions we put on a country that we occupied for 20 years and whose money US froze.. to pay itself reparations. What about those kids? What about Palestinian kids? Or you have what Ukrainian minister said that he cannot watch these blue eyes blond hair kids dying. Because brown kids death in a rate thousands time higher through our hands is different right? Every death matters but now this privilege behaviour of people when they act as if it’s something new and want special attention because white kids are dying when west has blood on its hands including Ukraine in Iraq and shelling Donbas. • @mysticrelics
      @mysticrelics ปีที่แล้ว

      Children are not the target of this war, they are just victims of it. This war did not start out of the blue. Ukraine wanted to be part of NATO and Russia had a problem with that because it is located at its border, hence a potential threat to the nation. To top it off, US has been secretly carrying out experiments on people using biological weapons somewhere along the Ukrainian border as result spreading diseases and viruses and killing people (documented evidence has been found). By the way, US does not permit such experiments on its territory but does not forbid it elsewhere thus exploiting this opportunity on other lands. US and NATO always cover up their crimes and silence them as much as possible by either denying them and/or redirecting attention to other casualties caused by the opposing side. Have a look at how many countries and economies these two have invaded and ruined (and how many children and civilians were killed there, too). Ukraine has been preparing long before this war started along with US and NATO support. No one is going to announce that in the media because it's a bad war tactic. At the end of the day, this war is politically justified. Yes, innocent people are dying, but that is a result of failed negotiations between nations. So please reserve your stupidity and stop blaming one leader when really everybody's equally involved.
