ulovemegz Can you do a video on transitioning to natural after 10-12 months?? I’m planning on transitioning for two years and I feel stumped! Love you megz ♥️
It's pronounced ala (like the beginning of ALABAMA)-kay, and she is a sister that was a former youtuber. Her name is Rochelle Alikay Graham-Campbell. Your hair is beautiful by the way! Keep thriving. My favorite is the Alikay Lemongrass leave in, never used the shampoo. And love Soultanicals all natural and vegan shampoos.
Btw...their lemongrass leave in is LIFE (Alikay)..... All Mielle products are bomb too! You'll love the babassou deep conditioner and the protein free deep conditioner as well. Enjoy...looking forward to your series...😍
I like the shea moisture jbco shampoo, but I LOVE their manuka honey line...shampoo, conditioner & deep conditioning mask. U have to try it..u’ll love it! Ur natural is THRIVING honey! 🙌🏾.....now let’s talk about this face u making in that thumbnail pic ☝🏾😂😂
Your hair looks amazing for one year! My faves are the Shea Moisture you showed! I love Camille Rose styling products but never tried the shampoo guess because I have my staple
I love Camille Rose Natural shampoo! Been using it for months. It is the only shampoo I use. It does it all, super cleans & moisturized. It also detangles. Love it!
Meg, I'm so happy you're back. I relax my hair and you were one of the first TH-camrs that I followed when I began my hair journey in October 2015. When you announced that you were going "natural" I was still compelled to watch your videos because your information is always so helpful. I really appreciate you being inclusive of people who are relaxed and people who are natural. I started using the ORS Replenishing conditioner because of you, and I'm still using it. I really love the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner and the Giovanni Avocado and Olive Oil Ultra-Moist Shampoo and Conditioner. The deep conditioner I'm really loving now is the Cantu. Shea Butter (for natural hair) Deep Treatment Masque: lots of moisture and slip. My all time favorite deep conditioner is Pierre's Apothecary Intense Hydrating Hair Conditioning Masque. I bought one jar at Burlington Coat Factory and fell in love with it. They don't have it anymore. Everywhere I look online, it's out of stock. I have never gotten so much Hydration and slip from any other conditioner. If you find it, please post. Congratulations on the success with your natural hair journey. Your hair is pretty, you are pretty, and your personality is just wonderful. Thanks for all that you do. God bless.
Love how you listed the products unlike some youtubers! (click my other video to see the product) 🙄 I literally have watched several videos where people spoke very quick and their light put a glare in the product so you couldn’t see what was being used. Much appreciated it this video!
I've always had a hard time finding high quality sulfate free and sodium chloride free hair care products. I am so glad that I discovered Arganlife Shampoo !
Your thumbnail just earned you a new subscriber 😂😂 But really, I'm planning a shopping trip to restock on essentials and this video came in clutch. I recently hit my 1 year natural milestone and I've been researching products to buy. Thanks so much for the upload!
If u ever cowash, try the True by Made Beautiful Cowash. The Mane's Choice Easy on the Curls Shampoo is legit, as well as the one from their eygyptian gold line. Yes, the Camilla rose shampoo is good. Also, the urban hydration shampoo is very good too.
Shout out to the natural who are not afraid of shampoo! Girl I am leaving my cornrows in for some months although this is not the cleanest thing to do I still have to shampoo! I make a DIY black soap shampoo that i like :D
That Shea Moisture JBCO shampoo gave my hair LIFE!!! I got the conditioner too. I'll never use anything different. And I just bought one of their 2-in-1 for my kids. I used Cantu but it kept drying out my hair and flaking my scalp badly.
Beautiful job. I encourage everyone to take care of thier hair. Don't measure your progress against another's progress. Follow thier tips if you like, know if they always had long hair naturally when they are naturally thier hair is going to grow just as long as when it was not natural. Sometimes it's genetics. Nice video.
I personally am a big fan of all things arganlifes and this shampoo is amazing! It cleans really well and my hair feels dry when i wash it out but when my hair dries its very silky. i do have to use it along with the conditioner because i have really thick hair but i definitely would recommend!!
Great I use the deep moisture shampoo from Aphgee, Creme of Nature moisturizing shine, Shea moistures Jamaican black, and the shea moisture raw butter moisturizing retention shampoo that one is really good you should try that one, these are my top Staples and I've been using these for a while now and I am relaxed that's what I love about them they make your hair so moisturizing, tfs your favorite shampoos God bless you 💕🙏
I really love the Camille Rose Sweet Ginger cleansing rinse. It is my top fave. I recently tried a sample of the Briogeo Curl Charisma moisturizing shampoo and OMG the slip on that shampoo is amazing. I was able to detangle so well with it and it cleanses so well.
TGIN is my favorite shampoo. I also shampoo with a clay recipe that I got from Green Beauty Channel. You and your hair are beautiful. My natural hair is similar.
Awesome shampoo. I have fine hair and Argan Rain Shampoo goes on really silky. It does not weight down my fine hair at all...and my only concer was about the delivery but thanks to DHL service, i had zero problem! so, will buy again .
I like the Mane Choice products. So far I’ve used the 3-in-1 conditioner, the growth oil , the daily restorative spray and one of my faves which is the Laid Back Effortlessly edge control. Finally something my edges lay down with. I also like Qhetmet Biologics. The Alma and Olive Oil Heavy Cream moisturizes for days. I use it with As I Am twist Defining Cream. Just a few things you might like. Aa
I absolutely love the Shea Moisture JBCO it smells like vanilla cake! When I first tried it I was trying to explain to my daughter how it makes your hair feel squeaky clean and moisturizer at the same time. She didn't get it until she used it. Lol now we are both hooked
You are so cute! I haven't always commented on vids...starting to now girl! BUT YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO GORGEOUS TO ME STILL ARE ANS YOUR PERSONALITY HAS REMAINED THE SAME! LOVE YA SIS! TFS 💜💜💜
Beautiful young lady and I love that hair girl! I use Alikay Naturals line too. I love everything in that line. Try the lemongrass leave-in conditioner because it is awesome!
Anita Thompson you right about pricey i got the 12oz leave in so i can try it out i paid $12.99 the bigger one is $20. I hope its worth it. Plan to try it over the weekend for wash day
My 2 fave shampooz r Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures & Elucence Moisture Rich Benefits shampoo. Garnier is not a natural shampoo, but i love it to clarify. Elucence is all natural and sooooo luxurious/silky smooth feelin goin on. Both r moisturizing and u can FINGER DETANGLE WITH BOTH! Especially da Elucence one, youtuber AshkinCurls put me on to it! Both r very affordable and under $10!!
NOW MEGAN. My coint is not that long to be trying all of these!! lol even after being natural for 5 years. I will be trying the camille rose and alikay! In my opinion Mielle is not heavy enough for 4a+ hair types (very thin consistency).
Fave ride or die shampoo is suave aloe and shea butter. It never fails me. I have dabbled with hello hydration lately but will always have that suave. I went away from it for about two years and I could tell in my hair so it’s back especially since I just big chopped after a looonnnnggg transition as well.
You should try the Camille Rose Naturals Clean Rinse! I used to be hooked on the Sweet Ginger Rinse but the Clean Rinse is clarifying and moisturizing. It’s great! I’ll have to try Alikay Naturals.
My natural hair care favorite shampoos are Design Essential Moisture Retention Super Detangling Shampoo, Design Essential Oat and Henna Deep Cleansing Shampoo and Ahphogee Deep Moisture Shampoo. These are what I am currently using right now.
Hey Megz I have been natural for about two years and one of my favorite hair lines is Mane Choice. It works well, smells good, and leaves my hair soft. I too love Creme of Nature products as well. Love the hair style. Later
mia alexander Yessss honey this is the truth! The price threw me off at first, but when I tried my friends mane choice shampoo.. Honey it is not any regular shampoo. Somehow it cleansed my hair but didn't leave it stripped and my curls popped immediately after using it.. Very moisturizing. The price and bottle size just makes me cry lol but I had to get my hands on it.
Heyyy Megz 👋🏾 your hair looks great girl! I am so excited for this series! My top 3 shampoos are proclaim Shea butter shampoo (moisturizing) aunt Jackie’s oh so clean (clarifying) and my black soap shampoo (medicated) that I make myself, it’s a mixture of naptural85 & Stephanie Voltaire’s recipes mashed together with my own little twist on it & I love it.
You have softer edges with your natural hair, with me my roots are softer but my edges are more kinky and harder to tame anyway your hair is looking real cute
Your hair is so Cute!! Shampoos, I also love the Shea Moisture JBCO shampoo, I have that one. I also have Cantu Shampoo for Naturals, and it smells really good. I also have the As I Am Co-wash. I love that as well. I try not to buy to much shampoo because it lasts me longer. I go through Hair Masks, Deep Conditioner and Leave-In conditioners way faster. Please do your Hair masks, deep conditioners and leave in conditioners you have in your stash next! :)
Love love love shea moisture jbco shampoo and Camille rose sweet ginger shampoo.... Dying to try mane choice as well can't wait to see your review... Must have the alikay naturals shampoo you listed I already love their leave in & you megz😍😍😍much love
Shae moisture black Jamaican castor oil shampoo one of my favorite. Megz definitely try the mane choice I love them their products! Especially their shampoo and conditioners
I am loving the hair! I’ve tried and love Deva Curl shampoo, Alaffia liquid black soap as a shampoo and TGIN which is a staple. I would love to try the Alikay Naturals shampoo it sounds wonderful.
Tangie Chapman every week. A little goes along way. One jar last me 3 months. U cant save it too long because it has raw honey so it starts to discolor around the 3rd month
I also love the shea moisture one that you used but I also love the manuka honey line by shea moisture, thin, trader Joe's tea tree tingle and their nourish spa. I have also just discovered oyin's new co-wash. Do you co-wash?
I love Form's Cleanse -- amazing lather! -- and Shea Moisture's JBCO but based on this reco I've just picked up that Creme of Nature as well. I like to give a shampoo two washes to judge how it works for me, so it takes me a few months to try several shampoos. Megz, how much time do you give each shampoo to work (or not)?
Thank you so much for making this video! This is the best shampoo review video I have ever seen! I am on the search for a new shampoo, my curls are too dry still
Tutorial on this hair will be up Thursday! 🙆🏾♀️
