Few observations from the Sanderstead innings: Yogi and Jake both look excellent at this level- especially Scaz. Good job they had a deep third in from the start or he would have made very light work of it. Sadler's pads with the Slazenger V in the middle at the top is village.
What exactly happens at Astwood Bank when Richard Keys gets involved, and the whole "he bats, he bowls, he does the bar, swings it both ways - and the ball!" starts off?! Utter carnage..
Cracking game. Sheldon and the other opening bowler looked interesting with their different styles. Love the speed editing Dan. Sanderstead seemed to have adopted social distancing in the field by having 20 metres between each player. Still...a definite result. 🏏😉

He hits the deck and it seems he is a rib tickling bowler so pulling and hooking is order off the day! So having a silly mid on puts pressure on the batsmen ! Love the Blue Mountains - I went to a company conference there about 10 years ago - stayed at Lilienfels Hotel in Katoomba and managed to get a round of golf in somewhere - lovely part of the world! Sightscreen was damaged in a storm - we are quite high up and when it's windy, we get it bad.

David William Gay - Hi David...full disclosure, I’m just an overseas fan not a club rep. However Shareef, his brother Kash and Tricki have all left. Kash played for Addiscombe in the other game this weekend according to Dan’s commentary here, Tricki is at Walton on Thames which, I guess, may be playing a slightly higher level. Keeper Sam also left as he moved to the South coast. Still...some useful newcomers including the two lads who opened the bowling in this game. All the best from Paris

Same here I started as a leg spin bowler from a young age and eventually as I got older and started working a job etc it really became hard to practice as often which lead to some pretty inacurate wild leg spin every so often. Eventually a couple of years ago I changed to off spin(loved Greame Swann) and turned out a lot easier to control my line & length so stuck with that ever since. Similar type of bowling to this oak, mixed with a bit of Swanny & Lyon in there.
The slow-mo worked Boomer was clearly out. You didn't make enough of that fine innovation Dan. But only one Sanderstead cricketer likes real ale - that's the real shocker!
😂 will try and do more slo-mo. As to real ale - I think taste buds need a certain maturity before the subtleties can be appreciated. I was mainly asking the younger lads who are not quite there yet - if I ask the Codgers it will be all about Pilgrim and real ale!
Sheldon must’ve spent some time in Melbourne as he’s wearing a Montrose CC top? I grew up not too far from there and used to play for Lilydale CC in the RDCA, which is in the same comp as Montrose. He looks pretty lively but I reckon he’s got an extra yard of pace in him. Josh “Eminem” Stacey looks a good addition, tidy bowler and can bat by the looks of it!
I think he has played in Australia - not sure where, but I imagine you are right! He's a great addition to the club as is Josh who looks a very tidy bowler.
I live 10 miles from Montrose but its the Scotland Montrose. They have a pretty poor cricket club but at least they keep going. Where I live on the other hand have been Scottish champions and also won the Scottish Cup. Our cricket hasn't started yet unfortunately.. 25.24 that used to be my favourite shot

I played on loan for my local club Rossingon Main yesterday, we got bowled out for 24 and I got 4 not out, I came in at 20-6 and I got all the remaining runs. They knocked it off in 5 overs
Yeah wasn't that great to play in, I was brought into play on loan since my club doesn't start till August. The conditions were terrible on a wet track. At least that 4 not out has added to my average.

Few observations from the Addiscombe innings. 1) Scaz's pies are absolute dirt. 2) That keeper, when standing needs a lower stance and to stay down and not get inside the ball like he does, looks like he's moving across to leg, and potentially back a bit, which is putting him off-balance. Lad needs someone to sit down with this footage and work with him. 3) The blond haired opening bowler is decent and the exact type of bowler I would hate to face. 4) I really hope Sheldon, who looks deece, doesn't carried away like your man Tricki Wilson does sometimes and pitches the ball up and uses the short one as more of a surprise, cos he could be a real handful.

Surprised you can get paid when you get quick 30, 40 most weeks been watching this channel for a couple of years and cant remember him ever getting a Ton!!! Handy with the ball as well but if clubs are paying players like that its just what’s wrong with club cricket
